A new study by @gwupoe researchers @AsherNStern and David Collins details CAIR’s yearslong influence campaign to shape K-12 policy on terrorism, Oct. 7, antisemitism, Zionism & Israel.

The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
Influence does not require formal control. In our new report, for @gwupoe David Collins and I document analyze how CAIR has built recurring access to K 12 education through parents, educators, districts, legal advocacy, state agencies and legislation. https://t.co/RW8GWvWhUm
📑NEW REPORT
CAIR has spent years building a path into America’s public schools. In 2026, it made that strategy explicit, expanding its “Unhostile Campus Campaign” into K-12 education. Our report “The Long Game” by @AsherNStern & David Collins shows how that access was built, and lays out a phenomenon that few seem to know about, but many more need to.

Inside Baseball Episode 8 part 1:
In February 2007, Hanjuan Jin, an employee at Motorola, was stopped at O'Hare airport as she was about to board a flight to China on a one-way ticket. In her bags was found Motorola proprietary documents regarding a telecommunications system, along with classified Chinese Military documents. This is the story of United States v. Jin.
Last week we hosted Dr. Omar Mohammed and Gen. David Petraeus for a book talk and signing of Mosul Eye: A Scholar’s Clandestine War Against ISIS.
The discussion explored Dr. Mohammed’s clandestine documentation of life under ISIS in Mosul and his efforts to preserve the historical record and help save lives.
How has Hezbollah’s financial infrastructure evolved in Latin America?
In @smallwars, our researchers Sergio Altuna (@wellesbien) & Leonel Caraciki examine the shift from traditional business and family networks to a more distributed ecosystem involving hawala, commercial enterprises, fintech & cryptocurrency.
Their analysis highlights why tracing financial networks - not just individual actors - is key to understanding illicit finance in the Tri-Border Area.

The IDF strongly condemns the severe act of violence that took place in the area of Taybeh, during which diplomatic representatives were attacked by Israeli rioters.
Police forces and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are entering the area accompanied by IDF soldiers and will begin collecting findings and evidence, as well as taking testimonies, in support of an investigation that has been opened.
The consulate's visit was not coordinated with the IDF. Such coordination is important to prevent incidents of this kind.
According to a preliminary inquiry, no IDF soldiers were present at the scene at the time of the attack. The report was sent to the brigade operations room, which is designated to receive reports from security personnel only, and not from civilians. The operations room receives dozens of operational reports each day and responds only to authorized personnel, not civilians. It should be emphasized that other designated channels are available for civilians to submit complaints. All circumstances surrounding the incident will be examined.
Irrespective of how many Israelis are involved, and no matter what the provocation may be, vigilante violence in Judea and Samaria is causing strategic damage to the State of Israel and seriously harming our security. The attacks must stop now, without excuses or hesitation. Failure to act will be a total dereliction of national duty.
Today we launched our Senior Fellow Dr. Omar Mohammed’s new book “Mosul Eye: A Scholar's Clandestine War Against ISIS” with special guest Gen. (R) David H. Petraeus
BREAKING: The European Parliament adopts a resolution condemning “Islamist entryism” aimed at weakening democratic institutions, opposing the legitimization of such networks, and calling for Muslim Brotherhood-linked individuals and entities to be added to EU terrorist lists.

To understand the Brotherhood’s European footprint, start with its structure. PoE Director Lorenzo Vidino & senior researcher @wellesbien authored the most comprehensive guide to its pan-European network—mapping the networks, institutions, and key actors.

It’s interesting that’s Zohran’s “Nakba Day” post exclusively mentions only one side, while his October 7th of course has to mention both - with faux sympathy for Israelis being a short blurb, followed a paragraph of praise and sympathy for the aggressors.
Old habits never die.
On 9/11 you show pure respect for the victims. But on 10/7 you hijack the memory of 1,200 butchered Israelis to lecture them that "suffering didn't start that day" and parrot anti-Israel libels. You don't apply this "context" to anyone else, just the Jewish state. Antsemitsme.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.
Three years after #October7, al-Qaeda has folded #Gaza into its own strategic narrative—selectively appropriating the attack, stripping it from Hamas & drawing lessons on mobilization and th militarization of society

We will never forget when @antonioguterres said the Oct 7th attacks “did not occur in a vacuum”, justifying the mass murder, rape and abduction of Israelis, in the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
