Itadakimasu is like the grace said by Christian before the meal and has the same meaning "For what I have received may the lord make me truly thankful".
Itadakimasu - Thank you for the food.
Said before eating food.
Surprisingly people say it even when they are eating alone, probably due to the habit or they are thanking the god for the food.

Flow is different from hyperfocus, people may think they get into flow while playing video games or watching memes and videos for hours getting pleasurably absorbed but these activities lies on the other extreme on the flow model, apathy where the challenge is very low.
Flow state: An optimal state of consciousness where we feel our best and perform our best.
A flow state can be entered while performing any activity wholeheartedly where our skill level matches the challenge level (or the challenge level is slightly higher).
