I thank @Ashjon07 for bringing another page of my Story to life.

All bets are off. Petey racks a round in the chamber of his trusty side arm. 9 mags of 21 round 9mm Major at his disposal, his suit that Serena made him enhanced with bullet proof weave, plus body armor underneath. Pretty soon the Civil War will start but more importantly than anything is making sure Serena is safe, her innocence maintained, and Ash never taking a life so the Man who Serena loves won’t die. Because taking a life always changes someone, always.
“Serena, Ash both of you stay behind me at all times. Viola, Pikachu protect them at all costs!”
“Vore, Pika!” Viola and Pikachu respond with a salute.
“I’ll do the killing if need be and Ash don’t bother asking. You’re a good man my dear sister loves and I want to keep that way. So here’s the plan.” Petey takes out a map. “We’re going to this corridor where I think a weapon cache from the war is still there hope the grease is still good. Then we’re going here at the rear court yard where we can find a car the fighting should take place mostly in the palace, capital streets and main armory. At the border here is a lightly guarded cattle gate I can bribe the guard here and we should be safe. Just please Serena cover your eyes when I say so.”

Suddenly from a out of nowhere a angry Noblewoman who believed she was denied her victory grabs Serena by the hair with the vile intention of cutting it off. The moment Petey heard her scream he delivers a jaw breaking blow upon that noblewoman knocking her out.
“It’s okay Serena.” Petey reassured his sister who grasps her hair with tears on her eyes. “You’re safe. You’re safe.”

Petey wants her to feel safe for he can sense much tribulation ahead of them.
