Can one self-assemble containers the size of cells using a single DNA origami? Well, now we can.
Check out our preprint, where we present the underlying Dipid (DNA origami inspired by lipids) framework(https://t.co/oaUOybQzXC).

@SleimanHanadi@AmaniHariri20@J_A_C_S This is super cool! Specially the possible protein secondary structural change in an out of equilibrium DNA system... Congrats to all authors!
Check out our new DNA-templated approach to protein mimicry! We assemble mini-proteins from peptides using DNA scaffolds, bypassing peptide folding constraints. This opens a new sequence space for protein design! Proud of F. Zhao and M. Frandsen! @J_A_C_S https://t.co/L6g3YB2YZ9
Fluorescent base rotors are typically sensitive to dynamics of the opposing nucleobase; but can they be sensitive enough to detect distant #DNA base lesions? Check out our paper using tsT & tsC to probe O6-methylguanine damage and #enzymatic_repair.

A new paper by the Luedtke lab @BioconjChem reports high yield (over 90%) bioconjugation of duplex #DNA. Congrats to Kaleena @McGillChemistry and Anna @UZH_Chemistry! Long NMR nights finally paid off!! Grateful to have made a small contribution.

I'm excited to share our latest publication with all of you! "Sequence-Specific Fluorescence Turn-On Sensing of RNA by DNA Probes Incorporating the Tricyclic Cytidine Analogue DEAtC." Congrats to a big team of student co-authors. #RNA#SDSU#USD 😃🥳 https://t.co/MZ28mYEFUM
About 2 yrs ago I got the chance to mentor @wang_kaixiang, an incredible BSc student at @McGillChemistry who was willing to work over Xmas holidays. His hard work in #Luedtke_lab just resulted in a paper we published together (he is co-1st author🍾) with Kaleena & @WilliamCopp16
In our new paper published at @BioconjChem we have reported a new fluorescent cytidine analog which has the same pKa as dC, remains bright in different #DNA structures & detects (even local) #imotif formation.

Yesterday, some1 was telling me his experience of submitting a paper during his PhD which was frm a femous lab. The editor called the PI saying that he has received a similar paper. Hwevr, he can delay that n get this 1 published if they can address a few questions quickly. 1/3
