@British_Airways They don’t have an update. 600 of us on this flight. Still waiting on the tarmac. We’re going to land in JHB in dead of night. It’s unsafe!
@British_Airways when is BA57 going to actually take off? We were sent to a hotel last night due to it being delayed by 13 hours. Have boarded the plane this morning and have now sat on tarmac for 2 hours. It’s Inhumane.
@RoyalMail again my postman hasn’t left a calling card when trying to deliver a parcel whilst I’m not in. I don’t have a tracking number as I didn’t order the delivery. Last time it was my passport! I’m at my wits end. What do I do? I try to call and it’s 30 min wait times?!
@British_Airways Ok thanks David. Would you also be able to advise on why BA56 was so delayed last night and tonight? Was/ Is it due to extraordinary circumstances?
@British_Airways Ok - bit unimpressed as we need a car to get to the airport? Do we also get compensation for being delayed 48+ hours? Google says we could be entitled to £600 per passenger?
@British_Airways Thanks, we have managed to rebook to tomorrows flight. Will BA cover the extra 2 days car rental, and 2 days extra parking at Heathrow? The info in the link isn’t clear.
@British_Airways THIS IS INSANE!! Our 19.25 flight delayed to 3am?! I am travelling with a baby and my autistic brother so would like to rebook but no phone lines are open. Help please.
@wuunce@British_Airways@flynorse We are in the Drakensberg, no easy way of getting to Cape Town. It’s a joke. Moved to the same flight leaving today and now been told this new one is delayed by 12 hours!!
@British_Airways@chris_underwood We were due to fly on BA56 (JHB - LHR) on 1st Jan. Due to excessive delay of 8 hours we moved to BA56 on 2nd Jan. Just had an email that the same thing has happened!! 12 hours delayed. Travelling with my baby and disabled brother - what should we do?!
