We will deliver cheaper energy. We will secure our energy. We will Get Britain Drilling. And we’ll launch a British Nuclear Revival and lead the world.
This is the team with the ideas, the passion and the determination to set us on the right path.
I’m proud to lead them.
With Kemi leading our Party, and soon our country, we will Get Britain Working.
Our climate is changing, nature is in decline and sticking with the failing status-quo is a choice.
Only the @Conservatives will change this. Here’s the first step in our common-sense plan for countryside. 👇
🥀 Britain simply cannot afford another Benefits Street Bail-out.
📈 So, as energy bills rise once again, it’s time for Labour to get serious and adopt the Conservative plan.
💪 Slash the carbon tax, cut the levies, end the subsidies. Ditch the targets and slogans.
🇬🇧 Cut bills for all and prioritise cheap, secure energy for Britain.

We don’t need Russian bots to depress us about the the state of our nation - according to Labour, if you drink ale in a pub or own a black lab then you’re “far-right”.
Minister says countryside of pubs and labradors is 'far-Right' fantasy https://t.co/Q21zx9Gr6w via @DailyMail
I very much hope @realDonaldTrump does not impose an export ban on diesel.
It will drive up prices in the UK 🇬🇧 & around the world and will harm the US’s allies, who will conclude that the US 🇺🇸 is an unreliable supplier.
We are on the brink of a serious oil supply shock in Europe.
We are sending RAF planes to support the Saudi’s re-secure shipping routes and pipelines.
Diesel is about to cross $2 a litre.
And yet, in spite all of that, it remains the policy of this Labour Government to ban new oil licences in our own North Sea!
And they still refuse to approve Rosebank.
It isn’t just mad, it is unforgivable. A complete and utter dereliction of duty.
Energy Security IS National Security. Labour can’t be trusted with either.
🚨 Now even the former Head of MI6 is saying what we’ve been saying- we are on an energy cliff-edge.
🚨 The rush to net zero has given unprecedented access to China to our energy system and we are at real risk.
🚨 Our adversaries will exploit this weakness.
🚨 Energy Security IS National Security. Labour cannot be trusted with either.

BREAKING - Andy Burnham's Credibility
It is becoming clear that Labour are about to, yet again, delay, the decision on Jackdaw. Waiting until after the Holburn and St Pancras By Election.
If true, Andy Burnham is guilty of a gross dereliction of duty and is putting the Labour Party's interest over the national interest.
There must be no more delay, get Britain drilling.
I see that Stella Creasy is accusing me of leading a pitchfork mob against her, because I opined that she is less likeable and more hypocritical than the wild parakeet she mistook for an escaped pet.
For those who don’t know, Creasy is an elected politician and self-proclaimed ‘old-fashioned feminist’ who is ‘still fighting the patriarchy’. She’s more than once publicly defined herself against me (and my reaction was not to accuse her of leading a mob, even though I was probably averaging a dozen death threats a day at the point when the article below appeared.)
I thought it might be instructive for those of us who don’t share Creasy’s brand of ‘feminism’ to examine her campaigning record, so we can learn to do better.
Creasy wants women admitted to the male-only, exclusive, London-based private members Garrick Club, a change that would benefit rather privileged women like Creasy. Creasy is a mother who wants better accommodations for working mothers, a change that would benefit Creasy. Creasy takes selfies at a men-only Muslim march because that reminds everyone how non-racist she is, which benefits Creasy. Creasy asserts that ‘trans women are women’, which keeps her in good odour with her party’s most aggressive activists, and benefits Creasy.
However, keeping cross-dressing heterosexual men out of nurses’ changing rooms doesn’t benefit Creasy, because Creasy has never had to mop up other people’s piss, blood and vomit at work. Challenging the notion that a male basketball player becomes a girl if he says he is doesn’t benefit Creasy, who has no sporting ambitions. Speaking up against the patriarchy as practised by non-white men doesn’t benefit Creasy, who wants those selfie-opportunities. Criticising an ideological movement that persecutes, harasses and openly threatens women who don’t believe some women have penises wouldn't benefit Creasy, because she's already fully-signed up to self-id, where any man who says he's a woman must be taken at his word.
As the late Gloria Steinem said: ‘“Feminism has never been about getting a job for one woman. It's about making life more fair for women everywhere.’
Creasy the patriarchy-challenger is provably more than happy to cosy up to men and misogynist movements when it suits her public profile and career advancement, no matter the harms those men might be causing less privileged women. By Steinem’s definition, what Stella espouses is not feminism, but Creasyism, and I suggest the emblem for this brave new rights movement should be an indignant parakeet with severely ruffled feathers.

Not everything has to be looked at through the lens of discrimination.
Conservatives managed to choose our first woman leader 51 years ago. Meanwhile Labour are celebrating Andy Burnham as their first female Prime Minister.
Claire has been promoted because she is excellent and Conservatives believe in meritocracy.
If Harriet is worried about discrimination, there is plenty in her own party to keep her busy.
Boris Johnson promoted me to the Treasury while I was on maternity leave in 2020. Nobody did a podcast episode on it because we didn’t think it was remarkable. He just knew I could do the job.
Women do not need patronising theories to explain their success. That is the point.
The Climate Change Act isn't working. It’s time to scrap it.
The @Conservatives will cut the red tape, prioritise cheap power, cut bills and deliver clean abundant energy.
London needs more than an administrator. It needs a champion, someone who understands its potential and is prepared to fight for its future.
That’s why I’m running to be the Conservative Candidate for London Mayor.

Thank you @Ashley7Fox for warning about the threat of a holiday tax.
“Many businesses in coastal areas face higher costs and greater uncertainty.”
A holiday tax will be another cost barrier for struggling coastal businesses already facing tight profit margins.

Over 60 MPs from across Parliament have signed my letter calling for an 18-week dementia diagnosis target.
The Prime Minister must turn his words on social care into action. A concrete commitment on dementia is the first test.
The last 24 hours have shown that a lot of people do not understand how terrible I feel about the things I did when I was much younger.
I know that my previous actions continue to cause pain in the Jewish community. I had thought that getting involved in my local council and working hard for my community was a good way to show how much I have changed and that I want to give something back.
I realise now that the fight against antisemitism is something that I actually need to do more of, I need to show the Jewish community how much I regret my previous actions and how hard I will work to fight to help destroy anti-semitism and rebuild trust.
I was 21 when antisemitism became my whole way of seeing the world. Because of my abhorrent behaviour I was convicted, imprisoned and deservedly punished. Since leaving prison, I have now spent years fighting antisemitism and extremism.
Rehabilitation does not erase what I did. But it does give me a sense of duty. While I cannot change my past, I can warn others away from the same destructive path. I know how this ideology works because I lived inside it.
I also know that if I stand as a council candidate, other political parties will spend all their time focusing on my past rather than the work I'm doing today, or even fighting antisemitism in their own midst.
Rather than standing as a local council candidate, I believe that my experience is better used supporting Kemi Badenoch in her ongoing mission to combat the antisemitism and extremism that is dividing our nation.
I have therefore informed the Party of my decision to withdraw from next year’s council election and Kemi has instead offered that I become an adviser to the Conservative Party’s Culture and Integration Commission, specifically focusing on how young men become radicalised.
I am of course sad that Jewish community groups have refused to meet me. My offer to talk still remains. I am on their side, and I am actively trying to help people susceptible to radicalisation and Jew hatred from heading down that path.
I love the Conservative Party. I believe in its values, and I believe that Kemi Badenoch is someone who believes in principles, believes in redemption and will stick her to do the right thing. I support the work the Party is doing to rebuild trust with the British people, and I intend on making a meaningful contribution to tackling extremism and promoting social cohesion.
