@ncarroll24 @MrsAlligood13 @MrsHugginsClass @rader4thgrade Our district has been for 2 years now! We love it #4thchat

@ncarroll24 @rader4thgrade Parents thought the content was not okay for 4th graders. We will not be reading it because of the heat we got this year! #4thchat

[Ashley Dowd @Ashley_Dowd3]

@ncarroll24 @ncarroll24 we teach our own class for math & spelling but departmentalize for SS, Science and Writing. Reading is split by ability #4thchat

[Ashley Dowd @Ashley_Dowd3]

@ncarroll24 @rader4thgrade Are you talking about the book Hatchet? We had a huge blow out with parents over that book this year! #4thchat

[Ashley Dowd @Ashley_Dowd3]

So does anyone departmentalize? Our school starts doing it in 3rd grade and we love it! Any opinions on departmentalizing? #4thchat
