Hi all,
Today saw the return of Hot Chocolate Friday. SLT took steaming mugs of hot chocolate to the pupils with the most House Points. It was a huge success, if you don’t count the scalded crotches, the burnt tongues, the ruined work and upheaval in almost every class.

Lessons will now be graded using a holistic rubric that includes seating plan symmetry, the emotional temperature of the room, number of smiles per minute, quality of whiteboard handwriting, and how many times the teacher says “growth mindset” without irony.

Hi all,
From today we’re insisting on Good Manners from everyone. Pupils must use “please” and “thank you” every time they speak to staff. Failure to do so will result in detentions. SLT will continue to disturb lessons, talk over staff and ignore all teacher requests.

Hi all,
From Monday all pupils must wear the full academy uniform correctly at all times, including the correct shade of socks. SLT will conduct random sock checks during lessons. Any pupil found wearing the wrong shade will receive a detention and a phone call home.

Hi all,
As the child protection, terrorism and racism training are now all online, we have decided to finish 30 minutes early on Monday and allow you to complete the training in your own time. It shouldn’t take more than five or six hours. To pass you must achieve 100%

We still haven’t managed to find a new SENDCO for September, so we have asked Carole from Main Reception to do it. How difficult can it be? It’s just a matter of ordering different coloured exercise books and overlays and handing out tissues.
