Nah. The true edgy girls & boys are laughing at you & your clove ciggy prop in all your shoots/posts. We used to call you ppl Posers. I’m a former smoker (age 18-29) the celebrities promoting the tobacco industry can stfu. Quit selling a nightmare as a fantasy. Its a bitch move
Ever looked at yourself? Calling out the orange in the room. If my dog can, you can. Actually wait. My dog has morals, values, ethics, standards, respect, love, empathy and doesn’t snap at everything.. Maybe this bitch is better than you.
If you were young in 2001, or weren’t even born yet, it can be hard to imagine what 9/11 felt like. The shock of that beautiful, cloudless morning. The heartbreak of the families whose loved ones were taken with such swiftness and cruelty. The realization that the forces of malevolence and violence were closer, and the future less certain, than we knew.
But in the days that followed, we felt something else, too. Pride in the rescue workers who had rushed to the scene, and the passengers who had stormed the cockpit. Admiration for the men and women who left behind lives of comfort to serve their country. A deep resolve that nothing would break the will of a truly United States of America.
Today Michelle and I are remembering those we lost that day, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the wars that followed. We pray for their families. And we hope Americans everywhere remember the true lesson of 9/11: that we can survive even our darkest days as long as we move forward as one nation and one people.
I won breakfast just now. Omelette: 🥓🍳🧀 red pepper, mushrooms, green pepper & onion. Side of more 🥓 w/ 🍁 syrup for dipping. Salt, pepper & Tabasco sauce on table. Split w/ your friend’s Eggs Benedict & mini blueberry pancake w/ berry syrup… I’ll run later. ☺️
Yes Jamie, advocating to pass laws stopping the deepfake abuse of women and girls enabled by AI is far more important to me than refusing to attend an event because a creepy technofascist (who I also protest frequently) was there last … checks notes … 15 YEARS AGO. I didn’t know he ever was—why would that be a thing I checked just in case?—but as I said even if I had? I would have gone anyway because he wasn’t there when I attended, and hadn’t been in almost two decades.
This is all exhausting. And? Shady. The weirdness of the “reporting” is that this conference has been covered by the news for years. It was never a secret gathering. But Wired apparently has new overlords to please? I dunno. But anyhoo, we passed our DEFIANCE Act unanimously in the Senate in January, thanks in part to this work I choose to be a part of. And also, I gave a similar talk at SXSW London last month. In case that needs to “reported” on too.

I honestly thought Karen’s were a dying breed. Nope. They very much exist and they are still horrible to employees, young people around them and the mom with literally 2 infants and a toddler in tow.
Angeleno here… I’m gunna barf. My own nightmares are bad enough and now the dumbest of nightmares are out there vibing with real life in our mayoral race. Why are we doing this to ourselves? Reality stars historically haven’t been.. uhm.. the greatest politicians.
