In Romans 10:1-4 Paul explains how Israel sought God with sincerity but failed to find Him because they sought to be accepted by works of the law.

Meanwhile the gentiles weren’t seeking Him but found Him and were accepted by faith.

There are denominations today repeating Israel’s mistakes.

Claiming salvation comes by sacraments, ritual, and other works.

Only works led by the spirit after salvation by faith count for anything.

Day care is causing the ADHD epidemic.

That’s the provocative take from psychotherapist Erica Komisar on John Anderson’s podcast. She argues that putting very young babies into long hours of daycare creates chronic stress that flips the brain’s stress switch (the amygdala) on way too early.

It goes into hypervigilant mode, eventually burns out, and leaves kids in a constant low-level fight-or-flight state, which gets labeled as ADHD.

She says there’s no strong genetic cause for ADHD. It’s largely a response to the environment we’re putting kids in.

This one really made me pause. We’re wiring tiny brains for survival mode before they’ve even had a chance to develop properly.

If much of the ADHD explosion is coming from early chronic stress and separation, then rethinking daycare norms and early childcare could dramatically improve kids’ mental health long-term.

What’s your experience or observation, do you think modern daycare schedules are contributing to rising ADHD rates?

Does the Bible give us an age of the earth?

Over the years, I’ve heard the objection over and over again that the Bible doesn’t give us an age for the earth—that’s what science is for! I usually respond a bit tongue in cheek by saying I’m glad it doesn’t, or it would have been outdated the very next year!

But then I go on to explain that the Bible doesn’t give us an age for the universe—it gives us something better: a birth certificate and a detailed chronological history.

You see, Genesis 1 is clear that God created everything in six, literal 24-hour days. That means the universe was six days old when Adam was created. We then have detailed genealogies in Genesis 5 and 10 that don’t merely provide the names of the fathers from Adam to Abraham but also their ages when they had their sons. This means anyone can easily add up the time that elapsed from Adam to Abraham (about 2,000 years). Since the Bible gives us the details to figure out Abraham lived about 2,000 years before Christ and we know Christ walked on this earth 2,000 years before us, we can determine that there’s been about 6,000 years of history.

So, no, the Bible doesn’t say, “The earth is 6,000 years old.” Earth wasn’t that old when the Bible was written anyway! But it gives us a “birth certificate” we can use to figure out how much time has passed since the beginning.

(And, just as an aside, this birth certificate is why most people in the West believed the earth was just a few thousand years old until relatively modern times!)

Did you know that multiple vaccinated vs unvaccinated health outcomes studies have shown that children who receive zero vaccines have much better health overall in virtually every category compared to vaccinated children?

One such study was commissioned by Pediatrician Paul Thomas of Oregon where thousands of his fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated and unvaccinated patients were analyzed.

What he discovered may shock you (and he stopped recommending vaccines after this study!):

•Asthma was higher in vaccinated children
•Developmental delays were higher in vaccinated children
•Ear infections were higher in vaccinated children
•Gastrointestinal disorders were higher in vaccinated children
•Overall healthcare utilization/office visits were higher in vaccinated children

Unfortunately, Dr. Thomas had his medical license pulled within days of publishing his findings because this kind of truth is censored and the vaccine industry doesn’t want you or other parents to know these facts.

Parents who raise vaccine free children never regret their decision and often share only glowing remarks about the health of their kids:

1“My children are now 23, 21, 19 and 17. All four are 100% vax and injection free. Only one of our children has ever needed antibiotics and that was when he was 15 years old.”

2“My 6 year old hasn't had any pokes. He's night and day different than his older siblings who've suffered through cancer and food allergies. When his siblings are sick he doesn't catch it or has a VERY short duration of illness.”

3“She’ll be 1 in a couple weeks & she’s been sick once in her life, which only lasted a couple days. She’s very healthy & super aware since day one!”

4“My 8yo, 6yo & 4yo are all fully unvaccinated and thriving. They’ve never needed a pharmaceutical or even over the counter medication. They have no chronic diseases. They’ve never had an ear infection. We get sick maybe 1-2 times a year, usually during the winter with a cold or stomach bug, and then we’re fine the rest of the year.”

Parents who raise healthy vaccine free children often spend time learning about vaccines, natural remedies, organic food, nontoxic products, alternative doctors, holistic living, school exemptions and other related topics outside of mainstream media sources, the CDC or a pediatrician. 

These parents read books, watch documentaries, listen to alternative medical professionals and join communities of like-minded parents and professionals to give them the confidence and wisdom they need to confidently raise their children without vaccines.

In the Old Testament, we are told of good kings who “did what was right in the eyes of the Lord,” but who did not tear down the high places. These were places of idolatrous worship. And even though Israel would go back to mostly serving the true God under the leadership of these kings, they were still willing to allow this little bit of culturally destructive compromise to stand.

So when the good king died, the mechanism for the gross idolatry was still there, and the idol worship would come roaring back with a vengeance.

But the best kings in the Old Testament were those like Hezekiah and Josiah, who completely dismantled these high places. Who tore out every vestige of idolatry root and branch.

And that is what needs to be done with this demon god of the rainbow flag. Because we know now the level of depravity to which it inevitably leads.

-It represents the buying and selling of human babies for homosexual couples who can never create a child on their own.

-It represents dressing little boys up as girls so they can perform sexualized movements for grown men in ritual dances.

-It represents cutting off the breasts of healthy young girls, mutilating and defacing their natural beauty.

-It represents giving puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to boys who will never be fathers and who will lose all sexual function.

-It represents stocking gay pornography in school libraries for even the tiniest kids and adult men engaging in sexual fetish performances for children.

-it represents placing women in danger by requiring the admittance of predatory men to their private, vulnerable spaces.

Right now, we learn from scripture, is the moment where good people following the true God will be tempted to think, we’ve had enough victories. Who cares about these June pride posts. The LGBTQ movement has lost so many battles recently, we can rest on our laurels, knowing that we have turned back the tide on the worst excesses of this movement.

But that is exactly the opposite of what we need to do. Tearing down high places is hard work. Especially when the high place is manifested as a Supreme Court ruling. But it can be achieved with patience, diligence, and strength of purpose.

We have had some significant victories in the last few years. But clearly, we are not done. So let’s grab a virtual ax and refuse to allow them any peace on these demonic celebrations.

Like Hezekiah and Josiah, we need to tear it out root and branch.

A Lot of Praying

Sometimes we think that all God requires of us is that we pray for this world. Prayer is good, but God has chosen "The foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."(1 Corinthians 1:21) We are asked, "How will they hear without a preacher?"(Romans 10:14) Are you that vessel that has said to God, "Here I am Lord, send me"?(Isaiah 6:8) Are you prepared to come out of the prayer closet and obey the Great Commission? A. W. Tozer said, "Have you noticed how much praying for revival has been going on of lateand how little revival has resulted? I believe the problem is that we have been trying to substitute praying for obeying, and it simply will not work. To pray for revival while ignoring the plain precept laid down in Scripture is to waste a lot of words and get nothing for our trouble. Prayer will become effective when we stop using it as a substitute for obedience."

There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
