During my visit and the alumni meet, I had the privilege of interacting with an eminent alumnus of our college, Shri Arjun Modhwadia @arjunmodhwadia, Hon’ble Minister of Forests and Environment, Climate Change, Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat. Shri Arjun Modhwadia belongs to the 1981 batch of Mechanical Engineering, while I am from the 1984 batch. Meeting him was truly a pleasant and enriching experience. We exchanged thoughts and ideas. The interaction was both inspiring and meaningful. Later, we captured these memorable moments by clicking photographs along with other alumni, making the occasion even more special.

It is a moment of immense pride for the Indian cooperative movement that yesterday, Newly formed Sahkar Taxi Cooperative commenced the soft launch of “Bharat Taxi” @coopbharattaxi in Delhi, with more than 51,000 drivers already on board. This is the world’s first national mobility cooperative, a historic model fully owned and driven by the drivers themselves. IFFCO feels deeply honoured to be associated with this inspiring new chapter in India’s cooperative journey.

Beginning with 51,000 drivers across New Delhi-NCR and Gujarat, the Bharat Taxi app will soon expand its reach across the entire nation. This transformative initiative, envisioned by Shri Amit Shah Ji @AmitShah, Hon’ble Union Minister of Home and Cooperation, to advance the mission of ‘Sahakar Se Samriddhi’ articulated by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji @narendramodi, marks a significant milestone in reshaping India’s mobility ecosystem through the power of cooperation.

Under this innovative cooperative model, drivers receive 100% of the fare, along with dividends and a share in the profits; a powerful testament to how cooperatives can uplift livelihoods and ensure true economic empowerment.
The Bharat Taxi app brings together Metro and other transit services into a single platform, creating a seamless multimodal travel experience for users. In addition, its partnership with the Delhi Police enhances safety and security for both riders and drivers.

This remarkable initiative stands as a shining example of how unity, cooperation, and collective ownership can build a stronger and more prosperous India.

Today, IFFCO’s Director Marketing Shri Yogendra Kumar @iffcoyogendra met Hon’ble Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan @ChouhanShivraj Ji. He briefed him on IFFCO’s innovative Nano Technology-based agri-products aimed at boosting crop yield & productivity and reducing input costs for farmers.

The Hon’ble Minister appreciated the efforts & assured full support in promoting these farmer-friendly solutions. A fruitful and forward-looking meeting for Indian agriculture.

I shared that Nano Feertilisers are efficient, sustainable, and have huge potential of transforming the lives of farmers across the globe. गांधीनगर जिले के इफको सदस्य संघ द्वारा कल एक स्नेह मिलन समारोह में जिले से आये हुए सहकारी गणों को संबोधित किया। सभी को बताया की इफको द्वारा निर्मित नैनो यूरिया और नैनो डीएपी उर्वरकों के बहुत अधिक फायदे हैं। वर्ष दर वर्ष सफल परीक्षणों के बाद इनको किसानों के बीच लाया गया है। कृषि हित के लिए नैनो उर्वरकों के उपयोग करने का सभी को अनुरोध भी किया।

I also had the pleasure of meeting Shri Ashokbhai B. Chaudhary, Chairman, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), popularly known as Amul (@Amul_Coop), during the 14th Agri Asia – An Exhibition of Agriculture Technology held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

It was an enriching experience to interact with some of the leading cooperative leaders of our country, all gathered at this significant event focused on the future of agriculture.
Looking forward to exploring the exhibition further and gaining insights into the latest advancements in agri-tech, sustainable practices, and innovative solutions shaping the future of Indian agriculture.

Congratulations to IFFCO Marketing team lead by Sh. @iffcoyogendra for increase in sales up to July 2025, IFFCO recorded a 19.57% increase in Nano Fertiliser sales, while Water-Soluble and Specialty Fertilisers grew by 8.00%. Sagarika Granules saw a strong growth of 94.76%, and Sagarika Liquid registered a remarkable 192.89% rise. Bio-fertilisers also increased by 3.61%. Additionally, POS sales recorded a YoY growth of 6.60%, reflecting steady momentum across all product segments.
