Jamaat-e-Islami Hind conveys its heartfelt condolences to the families of the 42 workers who lost their lives in the explosion at the Sigachi chemical factory in Pashamylaram, Telangana. We also pray for the safe recovery of those still unaccounted for and the healing of the injured.

This heartbreaking tragedy once again exposes the glaring gaps in industrial safety. The sheer intensity of the blast and the scale of devastation point to serious lapses in safety protocols. We urge the authorities to ensure that an impartial and transparent investigation is conducted without delay. The findings must be made public, and those responsible for negligence must be held accountable.

Human life must always receive precedence over industrial growth and commercial interests. The safety of workers is something non-negotiable. We stand with the grieving families and demand that the government provide the best possible medical treatment to the injured, locate those still missing, and offer adequate compensation and support to all affected.

We hope this incident serves as a wake-up call for comprehensive reform in industrial safety regulations. Such loss of life must never be allowed to recur. Our thoughts remain with all those impacted by this devastating incident.
