It hurts bad when half a damn country your born and raised in voted a man and party in that wants the worst for you.

Im disgusted by the creators that stood beside him. Disgusted by the creators that stayed complicit with silence.

Im just sad. We’ve always known America to be stacked up against us, racism and sexism isn’t new but you can’t help to hope that maybe just MAYBE after all these years, people will be better. But no they aren’t.

And I see it in the space, and I see it outside and we are fucking surrounded by it and I’m just sad. I pray that we all stay safe, I pray that we continue to stand up for ourselves no matter what’s stacked against us, and I pray one day we won’t have to feel this heavy weight that comes with being a woman of color.
