Yesterday, I was invited to testify in the Texas Senate State Affairs committee about the defective social media and online game design features that cause compulsive use and financial harms in kids. It wasn’t the first time but I hope it is the last time. Texas is tired of waiting on Congress so I have no doubt they will take the “longhorn” bull by the horns and pass online child protections that protect kids in 2027.
