Younger parents tend to ask my parents for advice.
I've condensed some key points over the years.
Run these psyops on your children:
- You are gifted intellectually
- You can unlock your supreme athleticism.
- Work diligently on skills and education that nobody can take away from you. That is the secret to everlasting confidence.
- You are the type of person who can achieve whatever you want when you discipline yourself to work for it – It does not just happen.
- You have an unending capacity to work, you are not lazy.
- You set your standard. Others are to fit in with you.
- Never worry about making friends, once you truly get comfortable being alone, people are drawn to you.
- Everything is a skill. You can learn anything; anything becomes more interesting the more you learn about it.
- Whatever you're interested in, be excellent in your chosen path. You will be supported.
- Genius is a state accessible to you.
- Nobody has the right to disrespect you, even at your young age. In any room you find yourself in, you have valuable contributions. They have inherent valuable because the words come through someone like you.
- Do not shrink yourself. You deserve to take up space.
- You can come to me for anything, even if you think I'll be upset – which I might be. But with me, you can unburden your conscience with the truth. I'm with you always.
I will always be the fortress that supports you until my dying days; and when I'm gone, gaze upon the spread of the heavens.
Know that I support you still.
Sergeant First Class Thomas J. Grasso, part of two Special Forces teams outnumbered 60 to 1, held off 2,000 Taliban fighters in Kunduz, Afghanistan for 130 hours straight.
Yesterday, I sat before @SecWar, @TheJointStaff, and @HASCRepublicans, read his proposed citation into the record, and made the case that his Silver Star should be upgraded to a Medal of Honor.
I know every word of that citation to be true, because I was one of the teammates he rescued from a near and complex ambush, which is only one of 14 distinct and selfless acts of valor performed by SFC Grasso during that mission.
“Group of horses in broad plain, and the lead stallion is captured by a wild spirit, starts to gallop this way and that, and the whole herd follows in a great rush of power and freedom—Nietzsche talks about this. I’ve seen many things like this myself: was at big waterfall, gathering place of many birds and other animal. Through all the cycles of history this place remains and birds who witnessed the coming and going of human civilizations remember it through the aeons and always return there. I saw many group of small birds, when the weather slightly changed, this waterfall so big that a small wind would make spray of water everywhere. Sun came from behind clouds and spread many small rainbows, birds would become excited, come out from crevasses in rock face and would glory in the sprays of water and the rainbows, they swoon doing acrobatics this way and that. Like when Homer says that on some Asian meadow tribes of geese, and crane and long-necked swans glory in the power of their wings above it, then land between the rivers, in Skamandrian plain, with a great clang. Is not enough just to say, what is purpose of this to survival or reproduction? Surely some pedant can make a story. But when you see this behavior, is not so alien. Maybe, in happiest moments you were free to act and feel the same: what anything to do with survival or reproduction! That kind of heavy necessity is the spirit of gravity, and this is opposite. That petty and cramped view of life…but in truth, life as it is, when free, life in abundance knows luxury, surfeit and waste…survival and reproduction are side effects of something else…”
This is art depicting King’s Mountain, one of the greatest Carolinian triumphs of the militia during the Revolutionary War. These were committed men, fighting for their homes and for sovereignty. To reduce them to “felonious gun running weed farmers” like they’re the ethnic dregs of our society, people whom they never would’ve thought of as their equals let alone as fellow Americans, is insulting beyond belief.
News flash: if dems win again they are going to escalate and become more authoritarian than ever before, and they would do that no matter what, and even after a moderate first term, hamstrung by RINOs and judicial tyranny, they still tried to imprison Trump, and when that didn’t work they tried to kill him.
Anyone who admits they’d fight for the other side if the chips were down needs to get denaturalized and deported.
This is getting ridiculous.
I’m not going to share a country with sworn enemies.
This isn’t a controversial take.
The people who have signed off on every stupid war of foreign adventurism for the last twenty years have finally reached their limit when it comes to shooting narco-terrorists in the ocean.
“Blow the whistle, comrades. Save yourselves from sharing their fate.”
Jesus what an insidious, cynical game these people are playing. They’re actively trying to destroy the confidence in the chain of command to get their political opponents.
The Soviets themselves would have been embarrassed at this.
@EricLDaugh It’s long past time for the Insurrection Act. The democrat politicians inciting insurrection and violence against law enforcement / military personnel MUST be held accountable.
Since I was a teenager, I’ve tried to live by this quote, believing it was Evola’s:
“Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: give yourself without counting or calculating, don’t accept what they call ‘the reality of life’ and act in such a way that you won’t be accepted by that kind of ‘life,’ never abandon the principle of struggle.”
It turns out it was written by Ernest Van der Hallen, a Flemish nationalist, but the spirit is perennial. Real principle is upstream of preference. It’s not a mood or a style, but the axis you would rather die than betray. It’s the center around which your being either turns or fractures, and most men fracture.
Too many build their “convictions” out of aesthetics and contingencies, but when the crucible comes, those burn off; and only what is forged in suffering endures.
@Anarseldain@USArmy@PeteHegseth@DeptofWar@SecWar Libs got the firmware update and are calling this "Karen behavior" as if getting people fired and debanked wasn't their whole MO for the past 20 years. They're pretending like it doesn't bother them but we'll see how they feel when they're broke.
You know nothing about this. I live such a quiet modest life that your feeble woman mind would instantly explode if you were to experience a single moment of it.
