سفیر افغانستان: افغانستان نمی‌خواهد خاک این کشور علیه پاکستان استفاده شود

سردار احمد شکیب، سفیر افغانستان در پاکستان، می‌گوید که افغانستان و پاکستان تنها دو کشور همسایه نیستند، بلکه از نظر جغرافیا، روابط مردم، تجارت، ترانزیت و امنیت، پیوندهای عمیقی با یکدیگر دارند.

آقای شکیب در سخنرانی خود در دانشگاه دفاع ملی پاکستان در اسلام‌آباد گفت که تحولات سیاسی، امنیتی و اقتصادی در افغانستان بر پاکستان و تحولات پاکستان بر افغانستان تأثیر مستقیم دارد.

او تأکید کرد که دو کشور باید از برداشت‌های گذشته درباره واقعیت‌های کنونی یکدیگر عبور کنند و افغانستان امروز را نباید با شرایط دهه‌های گذشته مقایسه کرد.

سفیر افغانستان گفت که پس از سال ۲۰۲۱، واقعیت سیاسی جدیدی در کابل شکل گرفته است و افغانستان نمی‌خواهد خاک این کشور علیه پاکستان استفاده شود.

The #Afghan ambassador to #Pakistan Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb @sardar_shakeeb @AfghanEmbPak addressed a gathering of military officers at the National Defence University #NDU. The Afghan embassy has released details of the envoy's address. The Afghan ambassador says "Afghanistan doesn’t want its soil to be used against Pakistan. At the same time, Afghanistan cannot accept that Pakistan’s security concerns should become a justification for military action on Afghan territory. If cooperation is expected from Afghanistan regarding specific concerns, Afghanistan likewise wishes to engage directly with Pakistan, regarding its own security concerns." He says "Pakistan has concerns regarding potential security threats from Afghan soil and Afghanistan fully understands these concerns. However, Afghanistan equally emphasizes that security-related allegations should be specific, exact and linked to concrete information, identifiable individuals, specific networks and particular cases.
Both countries must move beyond outdated assumptions about each other’s present realities. Today’s Afghanistan should not be assessed through the lens of the past several decades. Afghanistan is not the Afghanistan of the Cold War. It is not the Afghanistan of the 90s, nor it is the Afghanistan that existed after 2001 under the direct influence of foreign military presence and foreign political involvement. After 2021, a new political reality has emerged in Kabul."
