You need a PhD to understand that Anambra State cannot borrow from IDA, but apparently you need a professorship to forget it.

The educated illiterate, Charles Soludo did not just accuse Peter Obi of borrowing $𝟭𝟮𝟯.𝟳𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻, he accused him of performing a financial miracle the Constitution, the DMO and the World Bank all agree is impossible.

Only the Federal Government can collect IDA money. States only get a share through the backdoor. Yet according to Awka, Obi somehow entered Washington, collected IDA credits as Anambra State, and left the Federal Republic waiting outside.

This is not debt accounting, it is Nollywood economics. First they announced $123.77 billion, a figure larger than Nigeria's entire debt since 1999, then quietly edited the 𝗯 to an 𝗺 like it was a typo and not a confession.

When a professor has to lie about basic borrowing rules to make his predecessor look reckless, the only outstanding balance is his credibility, and even the World Bank cannot guarantee it.

Soludo is an idiøt. This is the kind of professor who is part of the problem we have in this country.
