Bilang Pilipino, proud po ako na may sarili tayong batas at korte. Hindi tayo basta-basta magpapasakop sa dayuhan kung walang due process.RA 9851 Section 17 says we can cooperate with international courts, but only if we are a treaty member. We left the ICC in 2019. Ibig sabihin, may karapatan tayong magdesisyon bilang isang soberanong bansa. Article VIII, Section 1 of the 1987 Constitution is clear: Judicial power belongs to the Supreme Court and our own courts.
So what should apply to Sen. Bato’s case? Simple: Philippine law first. Due process first. Kung may kaso, dito dapat litisin. Kung may warrant, judge natin ang pipirma. Article III, Section 2 yan. This is not about protecting one person. This is about protecting the dignity of every Filipino.
Yan ang Pilipino First. I am a proud Filipino who believes in our Constitution.
I’ve been reading RA 9851 or the “Philippine Act on Crimes Against International Humanitarian Law” and how it connects to extradition issues in the news about Senator Bato Dela Rosa. Maraming nalilito mga boss: Ano ba ang dapat masunod yung RA 9851 ba or yung Article VIII ng 1987 Constitution on Judicial Power?
Let’s break it down simply. RA 9851 Section 17 says the Philippines can surrender a person to an international court if we are a party to that court’s treaty. Pero importante mga boss: We withdrew from the ICC in 2019. So ngayon, hindi na tayo state party sa ICC. On the other hand, Article VIII, Section 1 of the Constitution says judicial power is vested in our Supreme Court and lower courts. So which applies to Sen. Bato’s case mga boss? The two legal positions mga boss ay Position 1: RA 9851 can’t apply to ICC now because we’re no longer a member, and extradition needs a treaty, at ang Position 2: The Constitution requires due process po, meaning any warrant must go through a Philippine court first to check probable cause po.
I’m not a lawyer mga boss ha, it’s just my understanding as a citizen reading the law. The Supreme Court will ultimately decide if a case reaches them. Let’s learn together. If you’re a lawyer or law student, please correct me below with respect. No politics mga boss, masyado na tayong hati, at nakakahiya na masyado tong mga pangyayari, just law lang mga boss. Para sa kaalaman ng lahat. God bless the Philippines and our Constitution.

Disclaimer lang po mga boss: I am not a lawyer. This is for educational discussion lamang po mga boss. For legal advice, consult a licensed attorney mga bossing.
Grabi na tong news about the reported shooting incident inside the Senate premises na umabot.
Based on initial reports, PNP and Senate security are already investigating. No final details yet on motive or full circumstances.
Bilang isang citizen, my concern is simple: How do we keep all government offices safe for employees, visitors, and our elected officials? Ano pa kaya ang pwedeng i-improve sa security protocols without making public access too hard for ordinary citizens diba?
I’m not an expert in security. Im just a Filipino who values peace and due process. Praying for everyone’s safety and hoping for a fast, transparent, and fair investigation.
If you have thoughts on how to balance security and public access sa government buildings, please share below mga boss. No hate, no speculation, no fake news please. Let’s wait for official updates mga bossing. We’re all Filipinos here. God bless our country and protect our institutions.

Disclaimer lang po mga bossing: I am not a lawyer or official. Personal concern lang po ito. Waiting for official PNP/Senate report. Salamuch!
Why is it our Philippine Marines deployed inside the Senate premises recently? I understand that the AFP, including the Marines, can be called upon to assist in national security matters under our laws. Lalo pa naka full gear. At alam din natin na ang Senate has its own OSAA office of the Sergeant-at-Arms for internal security. So my question as a citizen is simple and respectful lang mga bossing: Is this a routine augmentation, part of a specific security protocol, or in response to a current threat assessment?
Wala pa akong nakitang detailed official statement explaining the scope and duration. Kaya nagtatanong lang ako for clarity. I’m not making any conclusions. I still trust our institutions mga boss. I just believe transparency helps the public understand and prevents confusion. No hate, no politics lang sana tayo mga boss bilang Filipino asking for information. If anyone has links to official AFP or Senate statements, please share below. Let’s wait for facts. Respectful discussion lang po. God bless our Marines and our Senate. We pray for everyone’s safety.

Disclaimer lang po mga bossing: I am not a military or legal expert. This is a question only as a citizen po mga boss. Waiting for official information. Ty!
Napanood ko yong Live stream ng Senate Session 63rd, ipahayag kolang yong sarili kong observation as a Filipino po mga boss. Grateful that these sessions are public so we citizens can observe. Transparency is important in a democracy.
Under Article VI, Section 16 of the 1987 Constitution, the Senate determines its own rules of proceedings. Kaya kung may part na hindi ko maintindihan sa rules or sa flow ng session, I take it as a chance to learn po mga boss.
My personal take po with this mga boss was that, I may agree or disagree with some points raised, but I respect the process. I’m just hoping for 3 things:
1. Facts-based discussion,
2. Decorum,
3. Decisions that serve sa ating mga bossing, our Filipino people.
To my friends watching too if there’s any, what part of today’s session stood out sa inyo mga boss? Let’s learn from each other. God bless the Philippines and our Senate.

You’re right! The greatest risk isn’t funding, it’s irrelevance.
At ASK HELPING HAND, we avoid that by building livelihood programs with the community, not for them. Every peso earned goes back to our constituents. We may be donor-funded by 10-35% of my own income for now, but our impact is clear and measurable on the ground. Grateful to God for sustaining us while we earn the trust of this new generation of donors in the future as King of kings will provide.

Secretary Rubio's statement reflects growing frustration within the Trump administration over European allies' refusal to grant access to military bases during Operation Epic Fury. Rubio emphasized that if NATO partners won't support U.S. operations, the alliance becomes a "one-way street" where America solely defends Europe.
This isn't the first time the administration has questioned NATO's value. Trump has previously criticized allies for not meeting defense spending targets, and Rubio's comments suggest a potential shift in U.S. policy. European allies are anxiously awaiting clarity on the U.S. stance, with some increasing defense spending to reduce reliance on American support.
The situation remains fluid, with NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte scheduled to meet with Trump and Rubio. The outcome could impact transatlantic security cooperation and European defense strategies.
Together, we made a difference!
Through unity, teamwork, and shared responsibility, we turned small efforts into a big impact for a cleaner, safer community.
Thank you Everyone🙏❤️🫶🏻

@SpeakerJohnson@TrumpAccounts That's awesome! 🙌 Empowering families and setting kids up for success is a win for everyone. The Working Families Tax Cut sounds like a great step towards creating opportunities and building a stronger future. What's the next step in making this vision a reality?
Wow, that's incredible news! Congrats to the Neuralink team on their groundbreaking work with the Telepathy implant, helping people with paralysis control computers with their minds. The next-gen implant with 3X capability sounds like a game-changer, and the Blindsight augment could be life-changing for those with vision loss.
It's amazing to see the progress they're making, from enabling people to play video games and browse the internet to potentially restoring vision. The fact that they've already had 21 participants in their clinical trials is a significant milestone.
Same page, brother! 🙌 Just started today as an affiliate, following in your footsteps. Your lessons are 💯, especially "don't take your foot off the gas" - those "sure thing" deals can kill momentum. Appreciate the real talk! What's been the highlight of your year, despite the challenges?
