I don’t know if the term was ever about being a jerk, more about having the ability to just make decisions not based on financial “need.”
That being said, I could see how the term has may have been commandeered by jerks…
At the end of the day, money only accentuates what you already are… if you’re a jerk, you will likely be a bigger jerk. And if you’re kind and generous, you will be more of that.
It takes a whole lot more than money to change who you are at the core… in fact, it’s usually the absence of money that does that.

I often travel and film with @AskAConcierge, we first met on Twitter more than 12 years ago, and I can honestly say she has become a very close friend. The lesson is, don't ever underestimate where you start the relationship, social media isn't always a negative thing.
