@CDCgov @SMCHealth After testing + for #COVID19 I was contacted for contact tracing but was unable to disclose that I was on a flight the day I most likely contracted the disease. I was on a @united flight from IAD-SFO on 6/6. Thanks for lifting that mask & testing mandate!

@trussleadership … I had parents that wouldn’t look at me because I’m openly not white. I had parents roll into school with confederate flags and other regalia. Micro aggressions daily to the point I felt like I was being slowly crushed to death.

@trussleadership I lived in Eugene for two looooooong years. Oregon has a liberal reputation but it’s more libertarian and nice, white liberalism. Grad school in Eugene was miserable. My cohort tried to get the one professor of color fired because they perceived him as … angry.

@DenaSimmons Ab-so-lutly! My partner and I naively trusted one to find a good post-ICU placement for me after a 2nd brain surgery. The transport provided should’ve been a 🚩. I was taken home a few hours later. It was an awful experience & many weren’t so fortunate to have a family rescue.
