My bill #AB491 has passed out of the Assembly Committee on Natural Resources! This bill will strengthen California’s efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by codifying California’s Nature-Based Solutions Climate Targets, engaging our natural and working lands in (1/3)
achieving the state’s climate goals. These targets support climate actions such as conserving working agricultural lands, scaling up agricultural practices that improve soil health, restoring wetlands, and improving ecosystem function. (2/3)
