@ashleyrcummings It stems from medieval knights who weren’t attached to any lord or master. Their lances (a primary weapon of a knight) were free from any other loyalties. Therefore, they were free to fight for whoever they wanted (and could pay!).

Just got to experience a new @SpiritAirlines $ making strategy:

1. Tried to book a flight and got booted out of checkout; told “⚠️ERROR try again later”
2. 4 days later find out it actually WAS booked despite no receipt sent
3. Refuse to refund you for their mistake
