Physicians for Human Rights Israel is warning that Dr. Hussam Abu Safia's life is in immediate danger after a transfer to an underground interrogation center in Ramla prison.

He told his lawyer he was beaten by 4 or 5 guards.

He has reportedly been kept shackled, denied clean water, adequate food, and medical care despite chronic health conditions.

Foreign minister Hamish Falconer refused to answer questions yesterday about the UK government’s failure to stop British nationals fighting for the Israeli army in Gaza.

It comes after more than 25,000 people signed a letter to the Foreign Office demanding they investigate UK citizens who fought in Gaza and may have committed war crimes.

Ret. USAF Lt. Col. Karen Kwiatkowski laid out why she believes Gaza's true death toll runs far beyond every official count.

Her breakdown: food reaching people is a fraction of what's claimed, the published tonnage dropped on Gaza flattened 83% of buildings, and documented emigration only accounts for around 100,000 people.

She compares it to Venezuela's earthquakes last week, a couple thousand confirmed dead, 50,000 still unaccounted for under collapsed buildings.

Gaza is that, multiplied across an entire territory.

Her point is blunt: nobody knows the real number, and the war on journalists there is a big reason why.
