With the 1918 Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, Lenin prevailed amid the imminent danger of the collapse of Soviet power. He explained it to the masses and accepted the humiliation. In contrast, Caracas has not explained why the command did not order resistance. https://t.co/JUz7C7Dtcr

It turns out giving Trump her (questionable) Nobel Prize was for nothing. María Corina Machado says the US has excluded her from talks between Caracas and the opposition.

But Western media says she is the most popular leader in Venezuela and could win an election tomorrow. 🤷🏾

The US is continuing its recolonization of Latin America under the guise of the "war on drugs." The Trump administration is deploying hundreds of soldiers and Reaper drones to the region to begin launching strikes on land after more than a year of extrajudicial killings at sea.

[Rania Khalek @RaniaKhalek]

The U.S. is launching a war across Latin America that includes hundreds of U.S. soldiers and airstrikes.

600 U.S. soldiers have started deploying under the cover of fighting drug cartels. This includes moving reaper drones from Africa to Colombia and Ecuador with “plans to expand operations from strikes on boats to strikes on land,” according to the New York Times

This is obviously an expansion of the Donroe doctrine to control and steal the region’s resources.
