Assistants Anonymous: The Other AA is a platform on which to share your experiences in order to help yourself and others recover from Assistantism.

The assistant always follows the boss, unless they're taking the stairs. Then it's the other way around.

So... this just happened. One small victory for Assistantkind. http://t.co/Dy3jR1eI

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

Love it when my boss leaves for the night and asks me to transfer all calls to his cell, like I'm not leaving five seconds after him.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

Who... the eff... ate my packed lunch?

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

I hope that when I have kids one day, I'll work late just to avoid going home, just like my boss.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

"Hey, I want to feel important, even though I'm not. Can you get so-and-so on the line?" No, but I can go get myself a coffee!

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

People who can't dial their own phone blow me away via this gun in my hand.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

My boss smiled and told me to have fun on vacation. #screwed

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

It's bizarre hearing a 50 year-old Executive enter the office singing "I want to make love in this club..."

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

I guess it's better to fetch a boss coffee than to focus wholly on my ovaries.

[Pedro @CrackedIllusion]

Feeling like such a failure. Thought I'd be living in a giant tree house by now.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

If I go to shake your hand, that's not an invite to give me a hug. Be a goddamn professional!

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

I wish I could put a snooze button on my boss.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

I don't even know why I bother putting on mascara in the morning. I'm just going to cry later anyway.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

It's really too bad that nothing happens after I count to three.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

Don't make me fly over there and make you! #MotherlyAssistant

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

When a fellow assistant tries to screw me over, I send out a mass mail warning the office that she doesn't wash her hands after she craps.

[theotheraa @AsstAnonymous]

Nuthin' wrong with this hilarity! http://t.co/4qnOnYkE

Worst idea of the century: birthday bagels in the kitchen.
