Educate yourself with papers written by ppl with PhD’s, research the scans of trans peoples brains that don’t match up to the physical gender of the body but match with their identity

@RobJonesME @rollwithru I wish nobody had to feel this feeling either. On the rare occasion I go somewhere where no one knows me it’s bliss because I don’t care about the judgement then. It’s very freeing but at the same time I wish every outing could be like that. I guess we have to learn to ignore it!

@RobJonesME @rollwithru I live in a small rural town too, and I always worry when I don’t need my stick/walker that people will think I’m faking. It’s so damaging to mental health, esp when we’ve got so much else to worry about to do with our illnesses. I try not to worry what others think but it’s hard

@SharonStevend @rollwithru You have my sympathy, I have osteoarthritis too, but not severe (yet… that will come) I’m hopeful that using mobility aids when I need them will help to keep it at bay for the foreseeable. I’m only 36, hopefully I have a lot of years left in me yet.
