Last week I was able to virtually appear at the European Congress of Radiology 2022. It was a fruitful meeting on the collaboration between radiologists and urologists in all stages of treatment: planning, diagnosing and performing surgery.

Pleased to be involved with this Intraoperative Multisensory Tissue Differentiation in Oncology workshop. The aim of the joint research is to develop new probes for better detection of #bladdertumours during operations and to support pathological diagnosis.

At the #SWDGU Congress with Peter Kiefer, Prof. of Acoustics and Prof. Hans Schmelz. Interesting data was presented showing that the excessive noise level of ICUs increases the mortality of patients by 15%. On the other hand music such as Mozart increases milk production in cows.

Recently I spoke at @ASCO GU about hormone-sensitive primary metastatic #prostatecancer. The #ARASENS trial showed longer survival with darolutamide compared to placebo in combination with #ADT and docetaxel.
