talked with my grand-aunt earlier about singing. she brought up disapprovingly how some singers (self-taught) are just screaming, compared to those who are trained and sing more like in choirs, and i ended up raising my voice...

well it started because she called me a soprano. i know my range. i am a mezzo-soprano at best, and i was an alto in my hs choir.
