I understand some people enjoyed the ending, but Horikoshi's decision to keep the hero rankings feels like he lost passion for the story and just rushed to finish it. Anyway, just my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️

#MHA430 There were many aspects of the ending that I disliked, but the one I really hated was Horikoshi's decision to keep the hero rankings. Throughout the story, the hero rankings were a major point of contention for many characters.

Hori's choice to keep the hero rankings in the story is so disappointing and undermines so much of the story's theme: "What does it mean to be a hero?" The obsession with these rankings was the reason so many characters didn’t understand the true essence of being a true hero.

The HPSC did the same thing with grooming Keigo at a younger age, Coz nagant was older when they took her in therefore old enough to form her own morals. Keigo was young enough for them to completely shape his identity and make it harder for him to break out of his conditioning

I’ve always had that feeling tomura was yoichi's replacement 🤔 not only with how they look but with how afo uses them as well. Tomura is basically who afo wishes he could’ve moulded yoichi into

On the topic of All for One, he has some... interesting inspirations for names

The first is the kanji for "Younger Brother" (弟 - Otouto), the second is for "Tomura" (弔)

That’s why he started on Tenko so young. Yoichi was old enough to form his own ideologies, therefore afo couldn’t manipulate him the same way he could Tenko. It’s probs why he give the surname 'shigaraki' to tomura as well. Coz it’s the same surname yoichi shares with afo

@touyaseyelashes unlike nagant who formed her own values and opinions coz she was older. That’s why even tho he’s not under the commission atm, he’ll still stuck in the same way of thinking coz he has never known anything else. He deserves the chance to be free
