🌎 Was ist AstralBeam?

AstralBeam soll verschiedene Blockchain-Welten miteinander verbinden und damit den Transfer digitaler Assets zwischen unterschiedlichen Netzwerken ermöglichen.

Nutzer können bereits jetzt ein Casper Wallet verbinden, Test-Assets über einen Faucet erhalten und diese zwischen den unterstützten Netzwerken übertragen.

Durch die Anbindung an die Robinhood Chain können auch tokenisierte Aktien transferiert werden.

Casper zeigt dabei selbst einen Transfer eines tokenisierten Netflix-Aktien-Tokens ($NFLX) in Richtung Robinhood Chain.

⏱️ Laut Casper kann ein solcher Transfer dank der Instant Finality des Netzwerks in etwa 20 Sekunden erfolgen.

Robinhood baut sein Blockchain-Ökosystem unter anderem rund um tokenisierte Assets auf.

Die entscheidende Frage ist nicht, wie viele Chains unterstützt werden, sondern ob Casper dadurch tatsächlich neue Liquidität, Assets und Nutzer in sein Ökosystem ziehen kann.

Die Möglichkeit, tokenisierte Aktien und andere RWAs zwischen verschiedenen Ökosystemen zu bewegen, könnte dafür ein wichtiger Baustein sein.

Mit Ethereum, Base, Polygon und insbesondere der Robinhood Chain ist dafür zumindest eine interessante Grundlage geschaffen.
