The carnage that has already revealed itself in pwLC is the tip of the iceberg. You might think you skated through that infection you shared with your entire extended family but did you really? Did they?

This is a novel virus. A BSL-3 pathogen. It eats organs leading to them fail, destroys the vasculature, causes strokes and cardiac events, severely impairs neurocognitive function. And oh so much more.

Is that dinner at a restaurant, brunch, or birthday party really worth the health and future of your kids, your parents, you?

Just stop.

Apparently suggesting aerosol scientists, engineers, industrial hygienists, and ventilation experts should help shape infectious disease policy is controversial now.

You know… the same types of people responsible for:

clean water systems
sewage infrastructure
filtration
occupational safety
hospital ventilation
indoor air standards

Instead we’re told to “trust the experts” after years of public health agencies fumbling airborne transmission guidance, removing aerosol language from websites during outbreaks, and acting like respirators are exotic technology from the future.

Meanwhile the “random guy on the internet” they’re dismissing:

has a PhD
works in a College of Applied Health Sciences
teaches Tech-Driven Health Interventions
studies behavior, cognition, health technology, and intervention design
and understands the physics behind why respirators, ventilation, filtration, and germicidal UV work

But sure. Better to keep pretending infection control begins and ends with hand sanitizer and vibes.
