The MAVIS team wrapped up first Busy Week in Canberra from 23-27 October since the onset of COVID. The efforts resulted in the accomplishment of predefined objectives, providing clarity on numerous issues and establishing a more defined path for resolving instrument trade-offs.

The quality of the documentation, as well as the collaborative spirit and the professionalism of the MAVIS team, was praised by the ESO review board @ESO . This is a major accomplishment and paves the way to the Final Design and a first light at the end of this decade.
