@GiusCaminiti @Errol1001 You would be surprised how many younger people play on Epic because this was their start. Epic knew that and gave out free games. Not for people like you and me. But for the people who weren't on steam yet. Why go to steam when u have 30 games already on epic.

@Errol1001 @GiusCaminiti Asking any person below 30 which game launcher they use besides steam. GOG is much smaller than you would think on the casual market. Not sure if I should even mention itchio.
XBOX might come close tho.
Hard to find numbers but Epic games is always the second option after Steam.

@johncrickett I agree but managers don't. There are so many who think LOC decide your value in a company. They do not understand what AI Coding will do to the code base in long term.

@03september2021 @EliasDaler Apparently they let it run for hours and days. AI does some bullshit, tests it, doesnt work, rewrites it, tests it, works, continues. It is a mess

@tritlo I agree. Also, building constantly on top to release new content instead of being able to refining the fundament, is hurting so many games in the long run. Especially since every update has to be a working product.
No user cares about the (very important) updates they can't see.

@Todredmi @JankenPomme So basically using AI for growing engagement and a following to generate more income is okay but cutting down 6 months of work by using AI is wrong because...? In the backend both use the same technology.

I don't like AI, but this Virtue Signaling is annoying and just hypocritic
