This Liberal government tells Canadians that immigration levels are being reduced while telling foreign audiences that Canada remains wide open.

Carney’s contradictions are catching up with him. And the illusions aren't fooling anyone.

An example of how the immigration system gets gamed, and why it needs fixing.

A student lands at a Canadian port of entry. CBSA checks his documents, LOA, fee receipt, language scores. His TOEFL iBT comes in at a strong 110 out of maximum possible 120.

Then the officer starts actually talking to him. And it’s immediately obvious his spoken English doesn’t come close to matching that score. He can barely hold a conversation.

CBSA flags the discrepancy. Tells him he’s being refused entry and will be removed. An interpreter is brought in.

And then, as standard protocol, he’s given the option to claim asylum. He does. Constructs a persecution story on the spot. Thirty minutes later, he’s released with his documents, given 30 days to submit his medical exam and Basis of Claim form.

From there, his file joins a queue of nearly 300,000 pending claims sitting in front of the IRB right now. Within a matter of weeks, he has his open work permit in hand, no restrictions, any employer, any sector, while his claim sits in that queue. His actual hearing, the point where anyone finally sits down and tests whether his story holds up, doesn’t happen for somewhere between 12 and 25 months, depending on current backlog timelines. So a fabricated story invented on the spot to avoid removal buys, at minimum, a year of legal work authorization in Canada, sometimes closer to two, before anyone even asks him a real question about it.

This is the actual problem. I’m not against genuine asylum claims, people with real, well-founded fear of persecution absolutely deserve that process and that protection. But when the claim only surfaces the moment a fraud gets caught, when it’s a fallback triggered by getting flagged rather than a genuine fear that existed before anyone opened a laptop, that’s not asylum. That’s a loophole. And right now, the system doesn’t distinguish between the two. It just gives the option, no matter why someone’s actually reaching for it.

This is one small example of how many exits this system has for people caught mid-fraud. There are more.

Manjinder Singh, a close associate of Shaheed Nijjar, is Now the “TARGET” of India’s Modi Regime:

India’s Modi regime continues its apparatus of transnational repression, aggressively targeting Canadian soil to surveil and suppress Khalistan Referendum activists.

An official government notice sent to X Corp by Inspector Bramha Prakash of the Delhi Police Special Cell (Northern Range, Rohini, Delhi) explicitly targets Manjinder Singh, a close associate of Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar who is spearheading the #KhalistanReferendum campaign under “Team Shaheed Nijjar.”

A Threat to Canadian Sovereignty & The Proof:

The Delhi Police notice explicitly states their intent to track him:

“Such types of activities are dangerous not only for the safety and security of common man in the society but for the national security too. If these activities are not curtailed they may disrupt National Security and Public Order. It is also necessary to monitor this e-mail ID, as the information cannot be acquired through any other means. The data of this e-mail ID is required to collect intelligence, to know their plans against India and also to prevent sabotage activities.”

The Alleged “Crime” of Free Speech:

The Indian state is demanding Manjinder Singh’s private registration data, including his name, address, mobile number, email, and tracking of his IP addresses from 01.07.2026 to the present.

His sole “offense” was sharing a video on X (@manjind32847553) of SFJ Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun issuing an open invitation to a public debate with Indian PM Modi at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

The Scope of the Open Debate:

Pannun’s video directly challenged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Minister Ravneet Bittu to debate the core question:

“Who Is the Terrorist: Sikhs or India?”

According to the official document, the video shared by Manjinder Singh articulated vital political, historical, and human rights positions:

Sikh Role Models:

Declared Shaheed Dilawar Singh, Shaheed Parminder Singh Raja, Balwant Singh Rajoana, Jagtar Singh Hawara, Jagtar Singh Tara, and Paramjeet Singh Pamma as legitimate role models for Gen Z.

Historical Legacy:

Asserted that the real heroes of Sikhs are those who stood against state oppression—like Shaheed Dilawar Singh, who assassinated Punjab CM Beant Singh—rather than state-sanctioned narratives like Bhagat Singh.

Political Accountability:

Heavily criticized Minister Ravneet Bittu (grandson of Beant Singh) for his family’s historical alignment with the Gandhi family and the Congress Party, who were directly responsible for the 1984 Sikh Genocide and systemic atrocities.

Current State Oppression:

Accused the current Modi regime of actively destroying Punjab’s farmers and running state-sponsored transnational assassination squads to eliminate Khalistan Referendum activists globally.

The Inevitability of Independence:

Cited human rights defender Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra, who uncovered the illegal state-sponsored cremation of 25,000 pro-Khalistan Sikhs, affirming his conclusion that the ultimate solution to Punjab’s grievances lies in an independent, sovereign state of Khalistan.

The Call to Action:

PM Carney, this is a textbook example of India’s foreign interference and digital hunting aimed at a Canadian activist carrying forward the peaceful legacy of Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

علیمہ آپا،
نورین آپا،
عظمیٰ آپا،

یہ چند سطور دل کے بوجھ کے ساتھ لکھ رہی ہوں۔ اس امید پر کہ شاید یہ بات کسی نہ کسی راستے سے آپ تک پہنچ جائے اور اگر آپ تک نہ بھی پہنچے، تو کم از کم کسی ایسے شخص تک ضرور پہنچے جو یہ بات عمران خان تک پہنچا سکے۔

بات یہ ہے کہ انسان غصہ بھی اسی پر کرتا ہے اور دل بھی اسی کے سامنے کھولتا ہے جس سے امید ہوتی ہے۔ اور سچ یہ ہے کہ اس وقت اس ملک میں، اور اس جدوجہد میں، سب سے 'بھاری امید' آپ تینوں کے کندھوں پر آن پڑی ہے۔

یہ بوجھ شاید ناانصافی ہے، مگر تاریخ ہمیشہ بہادروں سے ہی زیادہ توقع رکھتی ہے۔

اور شاید، مردوں سے زیادہ، آپ نے اس ملک کے لیے وہ کر دکھایا ہے جو آنے والی کئی دہائیوں میں کوئی نہ کر سکے۔

یہ سب الفاظ میں بیان کرنا آسان نہیں!

چند تلخ مگر ضروری گزارشات ہیں:

آٹھ ماہ سے زیادہ ہو چکے ہیں، عمران خان کو کسی نے نہیں دیکھا۔
نہ اہل خانہ سے ملاقات، نہ وکلا سے۔

اس صورت حال میں ایک طرف آپ کی جانب سے سٹریٹ موومنٹ کھڑی کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔
جبکہ دوسری طرف، حقیقت یہ ہے کہ پارٹی کسی بھی موومنٹ یا "حرکت" کے لئے تیار نہیں۔

میری گزارش یہ ہے کہ آپ تینوں کا سیاسی ایکویمن پورے نظام، پوری جماعت سے کہیں زیادہ ہے۔ اسی لیے آپ سے امید بھی زیادہ ہے!

شاید کبھی نہ کبھی یہ بات عمران خان کے کانوں تک پہنچے کہ اب "رول بک کے اندر" کھیلنے کا وقت گزر چکا ہے۔

اگر یہی سمجھا جا رہا ہے کہ کتاب کے مطابق کھیل کر یہ جنگ جیتی جا سکتی ہے، تو پھر یہ جنگ نہیں یہ محض ایک انفرادی جدوجہد ہے، جس کے لیے قوم ابھی کھڑی نہیں۔

رولز آف دی گیم نہ صرف پاکستان میں، بلکہ دنیا بھر میں بدل چکے ہیں۔
بدقسمتی یہ ہے کہ اس بدلاؤ کی مکمل ویژبلٹی اس وقت عمران خان کے پاس نہیں مگر آپ تینوں کے پاس ہے۔

ہمیں امید تھی کہ سیاسی جماعت کا ��ھانچہ کچھ ذمہ داری لے گا۔ لیکن حقیقت یہ ہے کہ یہ ڈھانچہ ذمہ داری لینے کے لیے تیار ہی نہیں۔

جو لوگ اڈیالہ جیل تک آنے کی ہمت نہیں رکھتے،
جو آپ بہنوں کے ساتھ کھڑے نہیں ہوئے،
جو 26 نومبر کو خاموش رہے،
جو صرف تب نظر آتے ہیں جب اپنی سیٹیں، اپنے عہدے، اپنے گھر والوں کے مفادات درکار ہوں۔

یہ سچ ہے اور بہت کڑوا سچ ہے، کہ 'یہ سٹرکچر اب عمران خان کو خود ڈسمینٹل کرنا ہوگا'۔

یہ ضروری نہیں کہ وہ وزیر اعظم بنیں۔
یہ بھی ضروری نہیں کہ وہ صدر بنیں۔
یہ بھی ضروری نہیں کہ یہ پارٹی اپنی موجودہ شکل میں برقرار رہے۔

یہ سٹرکچر صفائی کے مرحلے سے آگے جا چکا ہے؛ اب اس میں صفائی کی گنجائش نہی�� رہی۔

میری آپ بہنوں سے گزارش ہے:
اس وقت سب سے اہم بات عمران خان کا زندہ، صحت مند، اور باوقار طریقے سے باہر آنا ہے۔
باقی سب بعد کی باتیں ہیں!

ہم صرف غلطیاں نہیں گنوا رہے، ہم حل بھی بتانا چاہتے ہیں اور سب سے بڑا حل یہی ہے کہ اب پ��ے بک سے باہر کھیلنا ہوگا۔

وہ قدم اٹھانا ہوگا جسکی دشمن کو بھی توقع نہ ہو۔

"تحریک" کا لفظ اتنا اوور یوز ہو چکا ہے کہ اس نے خود تحریک کو شدید نقصان پہنچایا ہے۔
لوگ جب تیار تھے، پارٹی کے اندر ہی انکی ہمت توڑ دی گئی۔

آج صورتحال یہ ہے کہ:
* وکلا کھڑے ہونے کو تیار نہیں،
* پارٹی مجرمانہ طریقے سے خاموش ہے،
* مڈل کلاس جو اس ملک کی ریڑھ کی ہڈی ہے ختم ہو چکا ہے۔

اگر لوگ کھڑے ہوں گے تو وہ اپنی مجبوریوں پر کھڑے ہوں گے!
مہنگائی پر،
غربت پر،
یا خدانخواستہ کسی بڑے سانحے پر۔
لیکن پھر اسے کنٹرول نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔

واضح ایکسپیکٹیشنز عمران خان کے ذہن میں ہونی چاہئیں۔ انہیں وہ دیکھنا ہوگا جو اس وقت نظر نہیں آ رہا۔

میری دعا ہے کہ اللہ خود انکے دل میں وہ خیال ڈال دے،
جس کے لیے کسی آئینے کی ضرورت نہ پڑے۔

لیکن یہ بھی سچ ہے کہ اس تاخیر سے ناقابل تلافی نقصان پہنچا ہے اور بہتری کی امید تب ہی آئے گی، ج�� پہلے اس نقصان کا اعتراف ہوگا۔ کہیں تو کوئی احتساب ہو!

یہ باتیں کہنا آسان ہیں، کرنا مشکل، یہ بات درست ہے۔

آج بہت سے لوگ اسی سیاسی جماعت کے نام پر بہانے بنا رہے ہیں،
اور وہ بہانے ہم نے خود انہیں دیے ہیں۔

اس وقت آپ سے بہتر کوئی اس پوزیشن میں نہیں کہ عمران خان کو مکمل آئینہ دکھا سکے۔

اللہ کرے یہ خط آپ تک پہنچے۔
اللہ کرے ہمارے دلوں میں بھی آسانی اور بصیرت پیدا کرے۔
اور اللہ کرے ہمیں بہتر دن نصیب ہوں!

مگر ان راستوں سے نہیں، جن پر ہم اس وقت چل رہے ہیں۔

Hey @AirCanada is the flagship Business Class Lounge at Toronto Pearson Terminal 1? I’ve travelled all over the world, and for a major international hub, this lounge falls well below acceptable standards for cleanliness and quality.

Two washroom stalls for a lounge serving close to 100+ guests.
Washrooms in poor condition.
Stained carpets.
Minimal air conditioning, making both the lounge and washrooms feel like a sauna.

Passengers pay a premium for Business Class and expect a premium experience. Instead, this lounge feels neglected and overdue for a complete renovation or a thorough cleaning.

If executive compensation is tied to customer experience, perhaps leadership should spend more time here before rewarding themselves. Invest in the product your customers are paying for.

Do better, Air Canada.
