When you first begin your day, stay off your phone. Fajr, morning Athkar, then Quran (recite or listen).
Daily, even when you don’t feel like it. It’s what you need for a good day
In occupied Jenin, Israeli settlers dug up a Palestinian man’s grave claiming it was too close to their illegal settlement. Israeli soldiers then forced the family to exhume and rebury their son elsewhere, while settlers and troops followed them.
More than a million people—nearly one in five of the population—have been forcibly displaced by Israel’s ongoing military offensive, with families sheltering in overcrowded schools and public buildings in Beirut or lacking adequate housing.
Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports.
At least when the Mongols invaded foreign nations, captured their leaders, and paraded them around before taking over control of their territories, they did so without the pretense of moral superiority, or the hypocrisy of a sermon on liberty.
Domination was named as domination, conquest as conquest, and power as naked force rather than dressed-up virtue. What is especially disgusting today is not merely the raw flex of power itself—history is thick with it—but the sanctimony that now accompanies it, the insistence that invading a foreign nation and politically abducting a sovereign ruler and his wife are somehow compatible with freedom, law, and a “rules-based order.”
The medieval conqueror at least spared the world the insult of euphemism; he did not claim to be rescuing democracy while dismantling it, nor did he demand to be praised by pretending to follow ethical and political laws. If in the past we considered barbarism to be displayed in the brutality of the act, modern barbarism lies in the lie itself: that domination can be laundered into justice so long as the brutal fist of empire merely claims to be following the very codes and Constitution that it constantly contravenes.
And the most pathetic aspect of it all? That so many people are willing to be deceived, knowing that they are being deceived, but still gullible enough to not see the destruction and chaos that their leader will continue to cause.
God help us all...

In 2018, Dr. Mazhar Kazi received the Annual Community Service Award from ISNA, honoring the role he played in helping build Houston’s Muslim community from almost nothing. He was part of the first Eid gatherings, the early formation of ISGH, and the quiet, unseen work that held those early years together.
During the ceremony, he shared something deeply personal about Shaykh Yasir Qadhi’s childhood. He said that all he truly did was make dua for him. The rest was up to Allah. Any sacrifice he made was for the sake of Allah alone, and Allah is the One who rewards.
His message was simple: when you do something sincerely for Allah, even the smallest effort can change entire communities.
This is what Israel is doing in Gaza right now. Every. Single. Day.
But it’s not newsworthy to western media, they’re too busy manufacturing consent for another war.
The so-called ‘War on Terror’ launched by America over twenty years ago has resulted in at least 900,000 deaths caused directly by the violence of war, and around 4-5 million indirect deaths as a result of the effects of war.
The ripple-effects of destabilizing Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, and other lands, and causing around 35 million people to be displaced (along with massive humanitarian crises in many places in the world), is absolutely unprecedented in global history.
All of this human tragedy has also come an an immense cost of *at least* $8 trillion dollars, much of it borne by the American taxpayers. This is astronomically higher than the entire cost on all sides of World War 2.
There are still many other negative effects (such as the constant breaking of international law, the rise of government sponsored assassinations, the usage of blatant Islamophobia as a propaganda tactic…and the lists go on and on.
History will show that all of these invasions were not done for the direct benefit of America, but rather as a proxy for and on behalf of the last remaining Apartheid Regime in the world; its lobbies have constantly been pumping hundreds of millions of blatant bribe money to our politicians to work for them. There was absolutely no threat posed by *any* of these countries to America, and almost all of the causes that were given at the time are now known with certainty to have been intentional lies and blatant propaganda. (How far such propaganda goes, and what other false-flags were utilized, will continue to be uncovered as more and more people are realizing what is going on).
Yet still, segments of our administration are thirsting for more, and are now drumming up support for yet another engagement with a Middle Eastern country far, far away.
What will satisfy the Empire’s pathological desire for war? Will its downfall be the only end to this madness? Or can we prevent another impending disaster?
God help us all.
Masjid Al Aqsa has been shut down. An 18,000 percent increase in settler incursions since 2023, daily raids, and now this. We’re living in a time of peak arrogance and tyranny. Wake up.
When Israel slaughters babies, it’s defending itself. When Israel bombs its neighbors, it’s defending itself. When Israel steals land, it’s defending itself.
When does common sense prevail over propaganda fueled by your “paid for by Israel” politicians?
