A2: A great way to support students as a faculty member is to give DTS points for class attendance. I try to remind my students of campus activities that are available which can also help them gain points.

@OdessaCollege #TweetOC Students can go to tutoring and supplemental instruction sessions to get DTS points. The student workshops are also a great addition to the LRC and points are also available.

A3: I was walking on campus recently and passed a student I had in class Fall I. I said hello and used the student's name. He turned around and said, "you remember my name?!" These moments help me remember how important it is to stay connected with our students. #TweetOC

A2: When I see students in the classroom who are struggling, I make a practice of reaching out to check on them and referring them to our student services. I was able to facilitate one of my students getting help through OC Cares last month. #TweetOC

A1: My office is on a main hall so I get the opportunity to help many lost students find the way to their destination. Always being friendly and looking for opportunities to be of assistance to those around me is one of the ways I practice this commitment. #TweetOC
