@Amarige2017@fils_de_pierre Ouin ok.
There's a story going around: after the drone strikes on Yandex data centres, comments on AfD and MAGA accounts collapsed.
We monitor 17,000+ politicians, media and civil society accounts in 30+ countries. 50,000+ posts a day.
So we checked.
We don't see it. 🧵
The graph that duped Russiagate-addled US boomerlibs and Eurocrats only claims to track “activity around AfD,” not botnets
By the same metric, and within the same time period, party-related searches were down drastically for the pro-war SPD, CDU and German Green parties as well
🇪🇺🇩🇪 Tomáš Zdechovský is a MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT.
He shared an anonymous graph suggesting AfD's online support COLLAPSED because Russian data centers were hit... 🤨
No source. No methodology. No explanation of what was even being measured.
Meanwhile, the available X figures show NOTHING resembling the collapse he's celebrating.
The man saw a chart with two red arrows, decided it proved Russian interference in German politics, and broadcast it to millions.
A freaking EUROPEAN LAWMAKER treating an unsourced internet graphic like an intelligence briefing... HOW!?
And apparently, checking the evidence was the one part of the investigation nobody thought necessary.

I can confidently say this post is misinformation.
The numbers are accurate, but they do not demonstrate what the original post claims, which suggested that Russian datacenters went down subsequently bringing down reddit traffic after the bots went offline.
OP evaluated ~1,000 subreddits, highlighted the 90 subreddits that saw a drop in activity on all three attack days, and posted that data while suggesting that this was the fault of Russian bots going offline.
The thing is, over any given time period it's entirely common for 9% of subreddits to see a 3 day dip in activity.
The subreddits that OP posted were cherrypicked, many of them have clear explanations as to why the dips occurred:
r/de: there was a german political fight the day before
r/irishpolitics: budget week
r/czech: elections occurred
We found no measurable effect on Reddit activity related to the strikes on Russian datacenters.
The mystery of the destruction of Russian bot farms has been solved.
It turns out that some degenerate saw a report saying that strikes on Yandex had reduced the activity of search engine bots and decided that it was referring to Kremlin bots.
After that, some stupid European politician announced on X that this was a clear victory for Zelensky over Russian bot farms.
Then another idiot, a Polish member of the European Parliament, claimed that the number of comments supporting Germany’s Alternative for Germany (AfD) party had now dropped sharply.
Where he saw this graph is unclear.
And now social media is full of people gleefully claiming that strikes on Russian servers have reduced support for AfD, Le Pen, and Trump.
The media join in. Victory!
These people are absolutely astonishing degenerates. They passed off search engine bots as Russian bots and are celebrating a victory.
Utterly fucked in the head.
@FortySacks I'd be happy with the pre 1960s arrangement of the two solitudes wherein the founding stocks weren't being hopelessly submerged by infinite Bomalians but we're well past that and DomSec is not going to suddenly seize power and save British North America.
Conservatism is dead.
@FortySacks Issue is that Domsec and co represent a minority opinion even in the so-called right wing of this country.
Meanwhile a large portion of the country will still happily vote for the anti-civilizational party (and yes I know Montreal shitlib francos are part of the coalition)
@woolyonezeez@BagelPolling but you are going to die you fucking moron and you don't get to bankrupt the younger generations as you desperately flail around for a few miserable extra years of life.
Christ is cheaper and more salutary.
