Hey look, it's me. I'm beyond honored to have been awarded the Teacher Research Award of 2021. I've put so much into my Spanish Language Acquisition research so far and I can't wait to send my end analysis.

"Words like #privelege and #power have meaning, but they also have relationship." @SarojaWarner It was wonderful to engage with this Champion of Education Equity during the @ATEVirginia 2021 Spring Conference! Are we throwing spaghetti on the wall?
"The power of your influence can help change the trajectory of a child's life." @2021VATOTY I had the opportunity to hear his story at the @ATEVirginia 2021 Spring Conference and it reminded me of my own. #ThatOneTeacher#MrFrazier#IvyLeaf
We feel that creating psychologically and physically safe spaces to learn and to practice in clinical placements is a moral imperative. This work will be at the core of what we do as an organization. We invite you to join us.
Our spring 2021 conference theme, Diversifying the Teacher Workforce, is a response to the lack of representation in our profession. Virginia’s school population comprises incredible diversity across racial, linguistic, religious, gender, sexual orientation, and ability groups.
Our conference theme does not reflect just a moment in time, but our commitment as an organization to disrupting inequitable policies and practices in our programs and classrooms.
Over the past 5 wks, we have used the pillars of COLLABORATION, COMMUNITY, CARE, CONNECTION, & CONVERSATION to show our support of VA's teachers & families & lead a conversation about mental health. We're continuing this work in 2021 & hope you’ll join us! #UnitingForMentalHealth
.@hcavirginia, @VirginiaPTA, @VEA4Kids, and @vacteva came together for a conversation around supporting mental health for VA’s teachers and families. We will be continuing our collaboration into the new year, and we encourage you to join the conversation! #UnitingForMentalHealth
1 of 2 | CONVERSATION: Our campaign was created to get people talking about supporting the mental health of our teachers, families, and state, and we encourage you all to continue the conversation with us as we end the year. #UnitingForMentalHealth
