I would like to express my disappointment with @7NewsAdelaide for cutting off Auslan interpreters at the funeral of Russell Ebert, luckily I am able to watch different channel on YouTube. I don’t know why @7NewsAdelaide refused to show interpreters, very very disappointed.

Beautiful service. A fitting farewell for Russell Ebert. Love the lap of honour and a guard of honour at Alberton Oval, a perfect send off to the great man.

We just want to say thanks to @sagovau & @PAFC for providing an Auslan interpreter for the Deaf community.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Russell Ebert. It was an honour and a privilege to have him as our first special guest. Our interview was really interesting and we will never forget. Russell was so generous, kind, and fun in the short time he spent with us.

After his interview, Russell grabbed my camera away from me then he put his Magarey Medals on me. Russell got my camera and tried to take some photos of me but most of the photos were blurred and we had a good laugh. Thank you Russell again and I will never forget this day.

@warrentredrea Well deserved and overdue. Russell should have elevate to Legend status in the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

We had the pleasure to have Russell as our first guest for the footy interview series for the Deaf community. He is a true gentleman and we will never forget this.

Russell Ebert has been elevated to the Legend Category of the SA Sport Hall of Fame.
