No matter your religion, race, or caste – if you are human, Mahashivratri is for you. The science of turning inward is for you, because Human Wellbeing is created from within. #SadhguruQuotes
Minimal, judicious use of chemicals can be supportive to soil health; indiscriminate chemical use will put our soils on life-support. Most important to keep the soil Alive with organic content for healthier yields, to enhance farmer economy and for ecological stability. #SaveSoil. Let’s make it happen. -Sg
Deeply disturbing loss that we must address with urgency. Education is about making lives, not taking them. Most important to cultivate a culture of mental wellbeing in homes & educational institutions. Everyone deserves to experience the Miracle that the mind is. -Sg #MiracleofMind @miraclemindapp
Soil is a living entity – it is not our property. It is a Legacy that has come to us. We have to pass it on to future generations as Living Soil. #WorldSoilDay#SadhguruQuotes
This World Soil Day, here's a look back at a few milestones from 2025 — a year of policy influence, global awareness, farmer-led regeneration and ecological restoration.
So much remains to be done, but every step takes us closer to a future where soil is alive, farmers thrive, and our planet recovers.
Let us keep this movement growing.

For our Pictures of the Year 2025, Nat Geo photographer and Explorer John Stanmeyer photographed farmer Shyamala Gunasekaran on her organic banana farm. She practices sustainable agriculture as part of the Save Soil movement, which aims to restore and protect soil ecosystems. 🔗 https://t.co/u1citFCRLw
A personification of unwavering commitment & determination to leave the world a little better than she found it. Several generations will benefit from Saalumarada Thimmakka’s foresight and her invaluable gift to the planet. -Sg
One day of breathing Delhi’s winter air is equivalent to smoking 23–45 cigarettes.
Understand the scale: this is 23–45 cigarettes every single day for 3–4 months. Even for the rest of the year, people in Delhi NCR inhale pollution equal to around 5–8 cigarettes a day. This will have consequences.
In the short term, cough, throat irritation, breathlessness, eye irritation, wheezing, headaches, tiredness, and more frequent infections. And in the long term, chronic bronchitis, COPD, lung cancer, reduced lung capacity, early-onset asthma in children, etc.
What’s worse is that nothing substantive is happening, as if nobody cares. Yesterday, the Supreme Court also refused to urgently list the case. This angers only the 5% of people who pay taxes, follow rules, get very little in return, and still genuinely want India to do well. The rest are happy with free ration, free water, free electricity, free bus ride and free cash.
So in the short term, use an air purifier as much as you can, and in the long term, plan on settling outside NCR.
Even when creativity takes a day off, the soil’s call doesn’t pause.
Ready to lend your voice and make every moment count for our planet?

Holistic wellbeing should be the foundation and purpose of education. It is most apt to introduce Ayurveda, among the oldest holistic healing systems in the world, to our children as part of the academic curriculum. This will not only encourage curiosity & wonder about the human mechanism, it will offer children the opportunity to experiment and experience how their body, mind, emotions and energies can be primed for physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Congratulations to @ncert on this wonderful initiative. -Sg
A Milestone for Our Planet!
At #IUCNWCC last week, Resolution 007 towards a Soil Security Law was officially adopted — a historic step recognizing that healthy, living soil is the foundation of well-being for all Life on Earth.
Initiated, sponsored, and tabled by SoilSAL, Save Soil, and GCELS, this #IUCNResolution 007 is now our collective call to action. We can’t safeguard our future without safeguarding the soil beneath our feet.
From supporting biodiversity preservation to climate change mitigation and adaptation, and ensuring food, water, and energy security, soil is at the heart of our planet’s health — and now, it’s one stride closer to getting the legal protection it deserves.
Why it matters:
● Global recognition for urgent, comprehensive, legal protection for soil
● Jumpstarts multi-stakeholder collaboration to develop concepts and parameters for an international convention or a global legal instrument on soil security
● Aligns fragmented global mechanisms and promotes policy coherence across local, national, regional, and international governance levels to scale soil as a nexus solution for global existential challenges
● Recognizes Indigenous peoples’ roles in soil stewardship and sustainable agriculture to revitalize soil
In the words of the late Dr. Jane Goodall: “We know what we must do, so Let’s Make It Happen!”

#Sadhguru’s advice to #Ramayana producer #NamitMalhotra:
“There is a recent trend of turning films into action extravaganza. Amidst all this action, don’t forget to show qualities of Sri Rama- freedom, balance, inclusiveness. These are the values of the future & should be told!”
Finally after so much of awareness and effort put by millions of earth buddies across the world, the leaders are prioritising Soil health. Without soil being healthy, we and our children’s can’t eat and live healthy. It’s a must step for every government on the planet. #savesoil

I went to a medical store.
I asked for ORS.
He gave me ORSL.
I said, “This is not ORS.”
He said, “Ok, keep it aside, I’ll give you another.”
Then he gave me the original ORS.
People don’t have much knowledge, so they may end up buying ORSL instead of ORS. Why is this kind of misleading product still available in the market?
It is wonderful & heartening that the European Parliament has agreed on adopting the soil monitoring law which can guide policymakers in designing effective solutions for sustainable soil enrichment. Several leaders, organizations, academicians, scientists and Save Soil volunteers have worked relentlessly to mainstream the effort to save soil of Europe. We must now strive towards making it a profitable proposition for the farmers of Europe to save agricultural soils. Congratulations and Best Wishes to everyone involved in achieving this milestone. #SaveSoil. Let’s make it happen. -Sg
