Any 15 year old groomed and indoctrinated into a terrible cult that used them as a 'bride' deserves a full mental health evaluation and the opportunity for deprogramming & CBT in the care of the state. Shamima Begum is no different in this regard.
It would be within reason then for businesses and institutes to establish a code of ethics that includes not making declatory statements or diagnoses that are reserved for the privacy of a person and their physician or therapist - or in limited legal scenarios.
Sex & Gender are two different things that are related and do intersect, but the overlap is not a total alignment. There is still a lack of understanding of Gender Identity but conflating Identity with Biology is in itself ignorant.

What remains true is making diagnoses of people public, whether the diagnosis is of a patient or someone who is not, is agreed to be unethical.
Psychiatrists & psychologists understand this - lamens making health diagnoses & declarations perhaps should be seen as unethical too.
How the police are handling the protests in Batley is how they should be handling the protests in Bristol, and how they should have handled the vigil for Sarah Everard.
The difference is it is only the Batley protestors the police fear and repercussions. This has to change.
Hopefully BBC reflects on asking additional, reasonable follow up questions about women's equality... Such as "would you like to see women in the role of imams?"

@GSpellchecker Maybe the idea is, the stricter we adhere to Social Distancing the sooner this can be over. Even though driving a car is self contained and done sensibly relatively safe.
Of course a lack of sense got us to this point to begin with.
@MaajidNawaz That same twitter account speculates Chinese are cannibals, Maajid. Have you verified the authenticity of this video? The location it was recorded in or even its date?
@powerball44@milander891430 @MrsNDpendent @ABC Racism isn't something learned in an academic sense, but it's not instinctive like tribalism - racism develops as part of a behavioural disorder, as all delusions of supremacy do.
@powerball44@milander891430 @MrsNDpendent @ABC Tribalism is the survival and protection of the group (herd, pack etc) and its expanse.
Racism is the delusion of superiority and supremacy by those that look and sound like eachother, and the delusion those that look and sound substantially different are inferior.
Remember when The Conservative party pushed through the Snoopers Charter in 2016, trotting out the catchphrase "Nothing to hide, nothing to fear"?
Oh, the irony. #Yellowhammer#Brexit#GeneralElection
Polling from Gallup finds that 95% of American Jews have favorable views of Israel. Anti-Zionist Jews are of course part of our wonderfully diverse community. But they are a tiny minority. Non-Jews should avoid using them as cover to offend the other 95%.
