I mourn the loss of 7 lives and fear that more will perish if we ignore the President @KagutaMuseveni 's warnings about swamp degradation in Nalukolongo, Ndeba, Entebbe road swamps, Kyambogo , Banda , Matuga , jinja road Lugogo drainage channel and water ways . Despite these warnings, @KCCAUG and @nemaug have been reckless, allowing waterways to be filled and factories, malls, and hotels to be built. Recently, shops have been constructed on drainage channels in Lugogo and Nakivubo, under @KCCAUG 's supervision. It's only a matter of time before downtown Kampala's malls are washed away.

I condemn @nemaug 's hypocrisy in Lubigi, where they targeted the poor while sparing the rich. It's time to hold these officials accountable and send them to Kyankwanzi for reeducation course .

We need a Uganda where people heed wise advice. Let's relocate factories to Nakasongola, Masindi, and Kiryandongo, and preserve Kampala's raised hills for human settlement and lower lands for green spaces and drainage, as originally planned by the colonialists. We must protect our ecosystem to save lives.
