If they really start to gatekeep who gets to use the best models, that is a declaration of war.

This prospect fills me with the most sincere, bodily cypherpunk will-to-power that I've ever felt (at least since I was a teenager). If they really go down this route, I would go all-in on building the most psychotic swarms of open-source models and fine-tunes possible, all geared toward a Chaotic Good jamming of the entire institutional public sphere. If we didn't do that, all of political life and the marketplace of ideas would be over before we know it.

It's one thing if the top models become too expensive for me or others to use (I'm already pricing that in, and if you can't build something profitable enough to climb that ladder as it gets pulled up, then that's fair enough).

But if the ladder gets pulled up politically, now, so only select institutional players get access to the most intelligent models, then any mature American man should be as energized as gun collectors are around the 2nd Amendment, or liberal women are around Planned Parenthood.

@PeterSchiff Bitcoin has gotten caught up in Warsh's tougher-than-expected talk on inflation fighting. But when it comes to actual inflation fighting, talk is cheap. The Fed's actual actions won't match Warsh's words. In fact, Warsh will choose inflation just like his predecessors.

@PeterSchiff Gold bugs claim Gold is cheap. Cheap relative to what? Maybe relative to its bubble high, but not relative to its historic lows. With no earnings, yield, book value, or limited productive use, Gold has no valuation anchor. “Cheap” just means buyers hope a greater fool pays more.

I'm a major hypocrite

2 days after saying "loops are overhyped and inappropriate for 99% of people" I'm eating my words

EVERYONE should be build AI coding loops. Fable 5 completely changed my mind

After one-shotting a ridiculously large, full stack implementation I'm convinced we can set this model off to work autonomously on full applications for hours at a time

I'm coming out with a full beginner friendly loop guide soon that ANYONE can use to build autonomous AI building systems.

In the meantime I'd highly recommend taking these steps:

1. Set Fable 5 to high thinking
2. Create a skill called /spec
3. Have it make this skill ask you enough questions about the feature you want to build until it properly understands the feature in detail.
4. Have it save this spec to some sort of 2nd brain. I'm using Linear
5. Make skills for /build and /review
6. Have these skills do what they're named based on the specs that got created

I'll put out a full guide shortly that covers all of this in detail. It will be the most in depth, beginner friendly loop guide on the internet. No vague posting.
