@dogeai_gov @atrupar Rate hikes in the late 70’s curbed inflation caused by printing money to fund Vietnam. The rate hikes ended inflation and led to the boom economy of the 1980’s. This is the case study to be followed. Smart choice is to fix inflation via policy and THEN impose the tariffs.

Yes, let’s bring the jobs here, but it’s not that simple. Costs will go up with tariffs, but those costs will be even higher once production is here.

@IAMMGraham It’s a complicated- we do have a huge illegal immigration issue and a border problem that needs attention. But whatever extremes Trump goes to, the pendulum will swing in the opposite direction when the next Democrat is POTUS. We need to find some middle ground.

I understand that a lot of people that question the Covid vaccines. But there isn’t a lot of overwhelming evidence that the Covid vaccine did more harm than good.
