A split judgment has created constitutional confusion over the implementation of a Constitutional Court order.

The ATM will not sit back while accountability is placed on judicial pause. Our attorneys have been briefed to approach the Constitutional Court urgently, with papers to be filed within 24 hours.

President Ramaphosa has secured a temporary delay, not a clearance certificate. Phala Phala is not disappearing. The President must still account.

ATM President, Prof. C. Nongqunga, attended the Special Provincial Official Funeral of Nkosi Mpumalanga Gwadiso, joining traditional leaders, government representatives and mourners in paying tribute to a dedicated custodian of culture, tradition and community development.

The ATM extends its heartfelt condolences to the Gwadiso family, the Khonjwayo Traditional Council and all those affected by his passing. May his soul rest in peace.

Today, the @PublicProtector has exposed what we warned South Africans about: a state that failed to enforce its own laws, too few health inspectors to protect communities, rampant business fronting, criminal networks exploiting weak enforcement, and an informal sector where government lost control.

Children didn't die because South Africa lacks laws. They died because government stopped enforcing them.
