My boyfriend told me that ‘fish nets’ make up 75% of the plastic in the oceans, and I was genuinely really baffled at how much of a problem women’s tights were until he clarified with ‘trawler nets’… #savetheplanet
@panicwithhockey@LBC Sometimes a victim just can’t be bothered with the hassle, I think it‘a fair enough if William just wants it resolved. I think you probably do have a point in the context of William’s treatment of Megan, that stark contrast doesn’t look great.
@panicwithhockey@LBC Ok I see, so if they’d taken them to court then the content of what was being argued over might have been made public?
I get what you’re saying, I just think we’ve got to be careful. There’s so much blatant wrongdoing by that family we don’t need rumours to criticise them 😝

@panicwithhockey@LBC No I know you’re not 😝 just be careful, when someone accepts an out of court settlement it’s because they’re the victim. You get that right?
@panicwithhockey@LBC Where have you got the secrets bit from? Have you just made that up?
All we know is that he was going to sue them and they’ve reached an out of court settlement. I’m happy to be corrected by actual evidence that says otherwise- in absence of that, there’s nothing else to say 🤷🏼♂️
@flammenjc @dsuffling @anon_opin No because sexuality is an intrinsic thing, not dating someone because they’ve got a bit more melanin is not biological programming, it’s bigotry which you’ve been socialised into.
@Polite_Lion @dsuffling @anon_opin If that’s true then that’s just really awful, and clearly racist on their part. Just refusing to date someone based purely on their ethnicity (or encouraging others to do so) is just morally unjustifiable. It goes beyond a ‘preference’.
@dsuffling @anon_opin It’s one thing to GENERALLY swipe left more frequently on a certain ethnicity based on subconscious stuff, but to literally select ‘no X race’ is clearly just not morally justifiable 😝 Like you said, as long as we’re aware of subconscious stuff and try to change then all good.
@darebrained@anon_opin If you’re saying you just fundamentally can’t find someone of a certain ethnicity physically attractive, then I’m afraid to say you are a racist.
I’m not saying it’s your fault, it might be a subconscious thing that has been drilled into you by media or whatever, but it’s racist
@anon_opin Yes I didn’t realise until recently that on certain apps you can actually filter by ethnicity. That just seems utterly bizarre to me that this is seen as a normal thing to do.
@HemlockAutumn@PinkNews I think it would be a civil claim rather than criminal. But they could in theory do what just happened to Alex Jones. This person will get so much abuse now based on what MTG has said.
@PinkNews Surely this is grounds for libel action? No?
Like what Alex Jones did with the Sandy Hook families, this claim will inevitably bring a level of harassment and intimidation that would surely be fertile for a huge legal claim?
Any American lawyers know if this is the case?
