So we’re dealing with cranky kids at the gate with no idea when we’re actually going. No GA in sight, no one has answers, board shows us boarding at 1335 at 1350+.
We were originally delayed to leave at 1405. After being “back on time”, we closed the doors at 1415. UA…?🙄😤4/4

@united make it make sense. We’re comfortably established in the ORD B6 club. Kids are happy, iPads are charging, lunch is being consumed. Our next flight is delayed, but we’re rolling with the Air & Water Show punches. Until. We get a notification that we’re back on time! 1/?

So we scramble, tell the kids we’re done eating, turn off the iPads with no warning (parents, IYKYK) and hustle to the gate. Shame on us for not checking the app for incoming flight info, because we get to the gate for a “back on time” 1318 flight… with no plane in sight. 2/?

So after getting to the gate with a bunch of confused people who have also raced there, I realize - the plane isn’t there. Look on the app - flight isn’t landing until 1337. All of a sudden, we’re delayed to 1405, boarding at 1335 🤔 again, plane@1337?! 3/?

Okay well I just took the absolute most terrifying @Uber ride of my life - and the worst part is that “driver” is going to pick up someone else as I type. I’ve reported to Uber but there’s “nothing they can do” in real time to save anyone else. I am literally lucky to be alive.

So @Delta @EndeavorAir what *is* the rule, when is it effect during the flight, and why on earth can’t your FAs consistently answer these questions that are supposedly about passenger safety. 4/4

@Delta y’all need to train your connection carrier FAs with more consistency. I have been on hundreds of flights while wearing one of my kids. @EndeavorAir is ridiculous on the inconsistent, seemingly made up reasons why I can’t have a baby carrier on during flight. 1/4

When asked to show where that rule was in the Delta handbook, he said “that’s how it’s going to be on my flight” instead of answering, then proceeded to insult my parenting because 1.5y/o-who travels often,& well, was not handling the change of not being allowed in his carrier3/4
