🔋Thanks to significant R&D investment, average BEV range is now 236 miles, rising to nearer 300 for models launching this year. Some already on sale have maximum battery ranges in excess of 450 miles, more than 3 times the average distance drivers travel in a week

@timdanton It’s a tough one for me. It seems pointless yet so is saying good morning somebody we pass in the street. Pleasantries can help the world be a nicer place. However, some emails do go on a bit in this respect. I stick to: Hi Tim, hope all is well.
@sarah_go_green@OctopusEnergy I was out in the EV and I don’t normally use hardly anything at that time (0.1kWh maybe) so I programmed my battery to charge. It was so sunny the battery was already full by then so I only used 0.3kWh a gain of 0.2kWh x 26p = about 5p! I’m still debating what to buy!
Do you remember when @GaryLineker said some of the dehumanising language used by the last Tory government about migrants and asylum seekers was reminiscent of Germany in the 30s. And the right were furious. Outrageous they screeched. Well, he wasn't wrong was he.
@sarah_go_green@OctopusEnergy Similar generation except I consumed most of it and still got my feed in tariff! I’m very lucky to be on a legacy contract.
They took away our right to live, work, retire, study in Europe, made trade and travel much harder, trashed the EU and made the UK "irrelevant" (ex MI6 head) - all for what exactly ?
So many other reasons besides, but even if only for those⬆️please go & vote & kick them out !⬇️
