Can you imagine meeting him, but you don’t even necessarily realize it’s a helmet? And going through a whole battle/adventure with him and half of you is like “this daft punk/zer0-ass motherfucker,” but you’re just used to it. Like, that’s just what he looks like, whatever. 1/6
@starry_sky_hs *SCREAMING* holy hell you drew this?! This is insanely cool! Seeing the whole picture has me FLOORED. WOW. I’ve tried to draw these outfits, too! They’re so technical and difficult! Mad respect. This takes so much skill!

Another interesting part of this post? They highlight the cultural significance of Mandarin ducks. That's a cool tidbit, and another example of the many and small ways the game exports Chinese culture. But that's not all.
Today on CN socials, some from a Certain Demographic were complaining about the use of Mandarin ducks. They claimed it was offensive because this species of duck has been discovered to not mate for life. Mandarin ducks are non-monogamous.
You see, Chinese culture doesn't matter to a Certain Demographic. They have no respect for it, just as they have no respect for Chinese history or national trauma. Anything can be twisted into outrage, even a beautiful, longstanding symbol of love and devotion.
And I've seen them talk about doing it on purpose now. Last time they got 30 free pulls, after all. Maybe next time they'll get 60.

I told my friend about the Valko situation and mentioned that a lot of Valko’s supporters tend to skew more emotionally mature and established in life, and he goes, “so it’s the antis vs. the aunties…” lmaoooo 😂
@Atienarchive For real; why do they think they can get away with this?! I swear I don’t see this copycat stuff with any other games? Not to this extent!
