@abaliphoto You can absolutely create image heavy books in Atticus! That said, it was created primarily for text-based books so it can take a bit of extra tweaking to get it to look the way you want. We don't have a free trial but we do have a 30-day refund guarantee. Hope that helps!
@darkoarmy We aren't actively working on mobi exports at this time. Last year Amazon stopped accepting mobi files for uploading to KDP and recently announced that they would no longer support mobi files in "send to Kindle" either. https://t.co/EekFPYswdP
@therealroth Best way to connect would be to send a message to our support team by replying to the welcome email or competing the online form at https://t.co/RGmeNOVJBo.
@therealroth We are a small team and dedicate most of our time to working on making Atticus the best writing and formatting software available but we'll work on our Twitter game soon. π
Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
@JohnathanReid@ScrivenerApp We love problem solving! What is it that you've found lacking in virtual corkboards? What is it you are getting from the paper version that you haven't been able to recreate virtually?
We'll be adding drag/drop scenes later this year and hope that can be part of the solution.
@SaketkooMD @colelaynewrites All that to say, we probably won't have all of those features but we do plan to support non-fiction and varied layout options in the future.
@SaketkooMD @colelaynewrites You're welcome!
I wouldn't say it is hopeless but I can say that it is a delicate line we are walking between allowing for quick, easy formatting and wanting to have everything for everyone. It is difficult to have one without sacrificing the other.
@SaketkooMD @colelaynewrites Thanks! "Master of the writing universe" seems like a reasonable goal! We truly value feedback from authors and will continue to listen and adjust things, even after we attain that title. π
